Provides your student with the knowledge needed
to build a strong foundation for continual spiritual
growth.

Phase Two
The second and advanced phase of the series.
This advanced phase deals with specific
doctrines taught by the Word of God.
Some of the titles of these truths are:
Why Two Days of Worship
What Happens if I Kill Myself
Why Do I Need a Spiritual Bath
How Do I Know the Prophets Didnt Lie
Why Does God Ask for My Money
Law and Grace
Can I be Fearful in Faith

Many people have struggled with some

of the Biblical truths and have not had
the tools to understand the spiritual
warfare against the Word of God and the
personal attacks they experience.
Unanswered questions and lingering
challenges are the ingredients for
discouragement and spiritual defeat.

Each lesson comes with instructor suggestions

for teaching the lessons.
These suggestions will assist you with
developing a learning experience for your students.
Each lesson is different and can stand alone
without having had the previous lesson.
However, it is recommended that you instruct the
lessons in their numbered order.
Thoroughly explain the entire process as you
learned it in the BITS program to your students.
If you dont, they may not fully understand.

Instructor

On the first home visit

Provide your student(s) with the following:
1. An Introduction to The Foundation Series for students
2. Friendship Questionnaire
3.

A filled, colorful three-hole folder

a. Yellow Cards
b. Who Are We booklet
c. Creating a Time Table for Lifestyle Study (Student determined)
d. Daily Planner (Student determined)

Instruct your students to read a paragraph each day and answer

the one question that follows the paragraph. Within the
introduction your student will learn about the great
controversy between God and Satan.
Letters c and d are student determined because you may
choose to use these two handouts on the second home visit
because it may be too much for the student on the first visit.
Let your conversations with your student be your guide.

On your second home visit

Let your students explain to you what they learned from the material; ask questions to help them remember key points.
Having the key points on a bullet point card will assist you with this process.
This method of having them explain what they have learned, introduces them to the actual art of teaching the material
back to you. This will also help them to learn what you will be expecting of them for future lessons. Elaborate on the
material and summarize it as you take them through the review process.
