Question 6 A restaurant operator serves 2 types of chicken rice in a day. A packet of the ordinary chicken rice needs 120 grams of rice and 300 grams of chicken. A packet of the special chicken rice needs 240 grams of rice and 200 grams of chickens. The restaurant operator has only 9.6kg of rice and 15kg of chickens. The operator prepared x packets of the ordinary chicken rice and y packets of special chicken rice in a day. The number of packets of the ordinary chicken rice is not more than four times the number of packets of the special chicken rice. (i) State three inequalities, apart from x 0 and y 0 that satisfy the above constraints. (7 marks) Draw the graph for the three inequalities . Construct and shade the feasible region R that satisfies the above constraints. (8 marks) Find the maximum profit and the minimum profit that can be obtained by the restaurant operator if the profits from the sales of a packet of the ordinary chicken rice and the special chicken rice are RM1.00 and RM1.50 respectively.
