Pada 5 Mac 2012 yang lalu, MRSM Kuala Klawang telah mengadakan Science Fair bertempat di Blok Makmal Sains MRSM Kuala Klawang. Pelbagai aktiviti dianjurkan bagi memeriahkan lagi aktiviti tersebut. MINGGU AKTIVITI SEMESTER 1/2012


Pada 5 hingga terserl9 Mac 2012 Minggu Aktiviti semester 1 telah dijalankan dengan jayanya. Pada kali ini, semua aktiviti yang dijalankan dikendalikan oleh Badan Wakil Pelajar dengan bimbingan daripada Puan Juliana Amin. Dari segi kepimpinannnya, bakat pelajarpelajar ini amat ah dan berwibawa. Antara aktiviti yang dijalankan ialah Billionairace, Next Top Model, Battle of the band, doodle-doodle, Deco-deco, Renjis-renjis dipilis. Tahniah kepada semua pelajar MRSMKK dan Syabas kepada BWP.

What Renzulli Says?

Within the above average abilities Renzulli makes a difference between general abilities (like processing information, integrating experiences, and abstract thinking) and specific abilities (like the capacity to acquire knowledge, perform in an activity). By creativity Renzulli understands the fluency, flexibility, and originality of thought, an openness to experience, sensitivity to stimulations, and a willingness to take risks. Under task commitment he understands motivation turned into action (like perseverance, endurance, hard work, but also self-confidence, perceptiveness and a special fascination with a special subject). Renzulli argues that without task commitment high achievement is simply not possible. Only if characteristics from all three rings work together can high achievement or gifted behaviour be witnessed. Recently Renzulli shifted his emphasis toward the background factors in his models, the personality and environmental factors influencing gifted behaviour.

Apocryphal Story about Jack, Tom and Irvin Jack, who considers himself smartest in his class, likes to make fun of Irvin, the boy he has identified as stupidest in the class. Jack pulls aside his friend Tom and says You want to see what stupid means, Tom? Watch this..Hey, Irvin. Here are two coins. Take whichever one you want. Its yours. Irvin looks at the two coins, a nickel and a dime, for a while and then selects the nickel.
Go ahead, Irv, take it, its yours. Jack laughs. Irvin takes the larger coin and walks away. An adult who has been watching the transaction from a distance walks up to Irvin and gently points out that the dime is worth more than the nickel, even though it is smaller, and that Irvin has just himself five cents. Oh, I know that, replies Irvin, but if I picked the dime, Jack would never ask me to choose between the two coins again. This way, hell keep asking me again and again. Ive collected over a dollar from him, and all I have to do is (to) keep choosing the nickel.
