EXPOSITORY ESSAYS CAUSES OF CHILD ABUSE

Childhood years are the most memorable times of human. During that time, a lot of nostalgic incident were happen on them. As we know, this stage of life is the time for us to learn about life-basics. Children will learn from their parents. They taught that what are their parents did is the right things. Unfortunately, most of our day nowadays filled with vandalism news, rapes, robbing, murder and many more unhealthy cases. Most of the causes to these cases are child abuse. Why these things happen while we know that childhood years should be happy? Well, child abuse will give this result. Nowadays, there are many teenager marry in the early age. These teen parents just think about the happiness but did not care about the parenting skills. Parenting skills are as important as it can be a very time-intensive, difficult job for parents. It become worst when they cannot manage their stress and financial properly. In some case, these teen parents did not know how to manage a crying baby. To solve it, some of them will injure their baby. A lot of parents, especially teen parents also cannot manage their finance. They influenced with sales and new furniture and products, so that they want to buy it. They forgot for a while about their baby which needs a lot of money to raise them. As we know, childhood years are the stage of basics learning. They learn from what they seen on parents behavior. Some of the child abusers actually are the victim of child abuse. So, these types of parents will raise their child based on how they raised before. For example, if the parents rose with rattan every day, they will teach their children by beat them, even for a small mistake. And this will continue generation by generation, with the same way of teaching child. As a result, the family did not get any happiness in their life. Child abuse also can occur when parents are under the power of drugs or in drunken condition. It is hard for children to live with alcoholic or drugs-addict because these people cannot give a good care to the children. These types of parents also unable to make good parenting decisions. On the other hand, they cannot stabilize their emotions. When they got stress, for example, didnt have money to buy the drugs or

alcoholic drinks, they will release it to their children, unintentionally. Some drugs-addicts or alcoholics misplaced the things which cannot be used by a child. As a result, the children will use it without any knowledge about the dangerous of those things. There are many ways to prevent child abuse to happen. Teen parents should learn about the parenting skills and how to manage their stress and emotions. Financial management also important to be learning as guidance during their economy is not stable. The addicts and alcoholics need to meet the specialist to reduce their addiction. In a nutshell, there is no good excuse for child abuse if they practice a healthy lifestyle.
