The topic of how to divide decimals can easily be performed by two ways that are given below: A ) Divide the decimal number by any whole number. B ) Perform the Division of decimal number by same type of value. It means by other decimal number. In the first case if divisor is a whole number then perform the division as like division between two whole numbers. To perform the task of division user have to ignore the decimal point until operation not get completed. After that we need to put the decimal point directly above decimal point in the dividend. If in second case both values are kind of decimal number then first reduce the decimal point form divisor by multiplying both values with the same number like 10, 100 and so on. Lets show below, 33.4 Here decimal point can be removed by multiplying the number to 10. 33.4 * 10 = 334 When we perform the division between the decimal values then we need to follow some of the steps that are given below :a ) When divisor is a decimal number then we need to move the decimal point to right to make it a whole number and also move the point in dividend at the same number of places. b ) After that perform the normal division between them. c ) when we get final answer then put the decimal point into their right position. Now we show some of the example that easily describes the procedure of division. Example: Solve the given question: 3.42 /1.5 Solution: In the above we can see that both values are decimal values. So, first we need to remove the decimal as soon as possible: 3.42 * 10 = 34.2 1.5 * 10 = 15 Properties of the natural numbers related to divisibility, such as the distribution of prime numbers, are studied in number theory. Problems concerning counting and ordering, such as partition enumeration, are studied in combinatorics. There is no universal agreement about whether to include zero in the set of natural numbers: some define the natural numbers to be the positive integers {1, 2, 3, ...}, while for others the term designates the non-negative integers {0, 1, 2, 3, ...}. The former definition is the traditional one, with the latter definition first appearing in the 19th century. Some authors use the term "natural number" to exclude zero and "whole number" to include it; others use "whole number" in a way that excludes zero, or in a way that includes both zero and the negative integers.he first major advance in abstraction was the use of numerals to represent numbers. This allowed systems to be developed for recording large numbers. Read More About :- Definition of Rational Numbers
