This standard, prepared by Committee MS/4, Micrographics Equipment and


Techniques, was approved on behalf of the Council of the Standards Association of
Australia on 20 October 1980, and was published on 1 February 1981.

PREFACE
This standard was prepared by the Association’s DEF (AUST) Glossary of Micrographic
Committee on Micrographics Equipment and Techni- T e r ms , D r af t N o. 4 ,
ques. Preparation of the Standard was undertaken at the December 1976
request of the Department of Defence who had prepared NMA MS-100 1971 Glossary of Micrographics
