Introduction
Mohammadi Group is one of the oldest garments manufacturers in Bangladesh. Starting in 1983, today we employ over 8,000 people and we have diversi ed interests in Power Generation, Information Technology Services and Real Estate. Though originally a woven shirt manufacturer, we started producing sweaters for the European market in 2002-2003. Our sweater business has more than doubled since its starting and currently we have 3 production units with a capacity of over 300,000 sweaters in 3,5,7,10 and 12gg. We currently manufacturer for many of the top high street retailers in Europe including Esprit, S.Oliver, H&M, Zara, C&A to name a few.

Compliance and Worker Welfare

Compliance and Worker Welfare is at the core of our business. We believe that compliance is a very important part of business and we are compliant with most of the European retailers. Currently 2 of our production units are BSCI certi ed which covers compliance for 50 of the top European Brands. Very few factories in Bangladesh comply to and are certi ed by the BSCI authority. Besides BSCI we are also compliant with H&M, George / ASDA, Zara, Primark Stores, C&A Stores to name a few. All these compliance audits have been conducted by world renowned organizations like ITS, SGS and Bureau Veritas. All our factories have their own compliance o cers monitored by two compliance managers located at the head o ce. All factories also have welfare o cers who regularly talk to the workers about their wellbeing and report directly to the management of the company.

Lead Times and Specializations

Over the years we have made very good connections with yarn suppliers from China, Taiwan, Indonesia, Pakistan and of course suppliers in Bangladesh. This allows us to o er very tight lead times to our customers. We can source all kinds of specialized blended yarns like Cashmere blends, angora blends, mohair and alpaca blends to name a few. We specialize in ladies fashion items but we are equally comfortable with menswear and children wear.
