Managed the implementation of new automation system VTLS VIRTUA and RFID based library security and shelf management system Designed and implemented an electronic resource management system for LUMS library using an open source electronic resources management system (CUFTS) Involved in data conversion, debugging of data in the new system. Managed the press clippings database and extended the covering of bibliographic record from 1987 to current date and providing full text of clippings from 2000 to date. Managed the Pakistan Periodical Index (PPI): a searchable database of articles published in major Pakistani journals starting from 1988 to date. Expanded the scope of this index and changed it from Pakistan Business Periodical Index to Pakistan Periodical Index.
