Due to the increasing number of accidents and casualties related to express busses in Malaysia, your company plans to introduce a state-of-the-art bus that is able to reduce impact during accidents and lessen casualties. You and 4 other colleagues have been assigned to design the Safe-Bus. The Safe-Bus will be used for long distance travel and has a capacity of only 25 passengers. Its main features are its ability to reduce and minimize accident impact to its passengers as well as contain superior safety equipments. Its internal design must be ergonomic, disable-friendly and provide maximum comfort to the passengers. The Safe-Bus must also conform to environmental regulations and are cost-effective. CDs will be collected on Wednesday 5th May, 5pm at Block 4, from the mailbox of Dr. Nurlidia Mansor. 1 mark will automatically be deducted for CDs collected on each day that follows (including weekends).

You work for a Housing and Development Company in Ipoh. Your company is currently developing a new low density residential area of 30 houses. Amongst the selling point of the development project is the introduction of a high-technology Safe and fun playground for children. Currently, playgrounds at most residential areas are made from unsuitable materials that will rust, break and post risk and harm to children. Most playground equipments are also subjected to vandalism and have no designation for the proper ages to use. Therefore, your company has assigned you and 4 other team members to design a safe and fun playground. The playground is specially provided for children between the ages of 10 months to 12 years. Its main features are the state-ofthe-art playground equipment that is safe, ergonomic, eco-friendly and can reduce minor accidents and injuries to children at play. The overall playground must also be designed for parents and guardians to easily monitor their children within a comfortable environment with minimum supervision. The playground must also be a safe zone that is free of unwanted perpetrators, strangers and vandalism.
