Outdoor dry cable terminations of plug and play type. For installations in which the termination is used as a xed connection point and where very high continuous creepage currents can occur. Designed to meet the requirements of internationally accepted standards.

The prefabricated termination with integrated base part and support pipe consists of: composite insulator, electrical insulating silicone compound and stress relief cone. All parts pre-assembled from factory. 1. Top bolt Made from aluminium or tin-plated copper. 2. Conductor connection Mechanical bolt connector. 3. Top cover cap A rubber sealing and two O-rings seal the top bolt to the top cover cap. 4. Top cover Made from aluminium alloy. It is fastened with bolts and then sealed with an O-ring. 5. Insulator Low weight, grey silicone rubber composite with hydrophobic surface for low leakage current. Excellent pollution performance. 6. Insulating silicone compound The electrical insulating silicone is pre-installed from factory. 7. Stress relief cone The stress relief cone is made from EPDM rubber and designed for geometric field control. It is premolded which enables routine testing.

8. Support pipe Made from fiberglass reinforced polyester. The support pipe acts as a fastener for the stress relief cone. 9. Base part Made from aluminium alloy. The base part is integrated in the insulator. 10. Cable clamp Made from fiberglass reinforced polyester. The cable clamp secures the cable in a fixed position. 11. Earth clamp The earth clamp is made of nickel-plated brass and clamped with stainless steel bolts. The earth clamp has a rated cross section of 1050 mm.

Storage When stored in original, unopened packaging at temperatures in the range of -30C to 30C: The prefabricated termination with integrated parts has a shelf life of 10 years from date of manufacture. Tapes and grease have a shelf life of five years. Metal hardwares have no shelf life limit.
