A Wake up Call for Venezuelas Voters against Chavez

To the few in this hemisphere that truly believes that President Hugo Chavez Frias of Venezuela is not a threat, the coffee brewing might need some strengthening as one clearly focuses and reads between the lines of the voluminous open source material alone that saturates the world Internet. That of which is not open source material on the subject might give you a jolt of instant reality by itself. Filtering through the Chavez and Chavista propaganda is a good clue to spot the derailing Chavez election train that struggles to show a true record of progress for the Venezuelan homeland under Chavezs dictatorial tenure of deceit and the squandering of Venezuelas massive wealth. Hugo Chavez faces a formidible opponent, Henrique CAPRILES Radonski (40), in the October 7, 2012 presidential elections. Capriles, a former governor, lawyer and politician was also the mayor of Baruta Municipality of Caracas. From the onset, in true buffoonish-like meanderings; Chavez, without a modicum of professional diplomacy in his veins and mouth unleashed a continuing torrent of insults against Capriles. He was quick to call his opponent a low life pig. Chavez allies were quick to join the venomous smear campaign by questioning his sexuality and mocking his Jewish roots. Venezuelan congressional leader Diosdado Cabello, a former military and longtime ally of Chavez, said: "Now we know who is the candidate of imperialism, of capitalism, and the right wing." Chavez supporters and state media commentators called Capriles "Washington's puppet," and they then circulated a cartoon depicting him wearing a swastika. Adal Hernandez (state radio commentator), wrote of Capriles, highlighting his Jewish family background, and titled it "The Enemy is Zionism."

It is easy for ALL to see that democratic principles are not being respected by the Hugo Chavez regime. As well, Chavez himself has refused to repudiate the anti-Semitic attacks on his opponent for President of Venezuela. Of course the facts of Chavezs close alliance with Irans Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is very well known and evidence of where Chavez stands on Israel and the worlds Jewish population. Recently Chavez, the father of Venezuelan deceit and lies, accused Capriles of being linked to nazi groups. On a tour of a petrochemical plant Chavez said his administration has evidence that Capriles belonged to a fascist organization of wealthy families implicated in neo-Nazism. Capriles- whose grandmother is a Holocaust survivor stated in gentleman-like fashion which continues to be his good nature, So I would like to ask (Chavez) not to respect me but my great-grandparents, buried somewhere in the world after being killed by the Nazis. Capriles, a Catholic, comes from a family of Polish Jewish Holocaust survivors who immigrated to Venezuela. Capriles has remained a polished professional throughout the DESPERATE tirades and socialist rhetoric of the Chavez regime. He said he will not be drawn into mudslinging and wants to stay focused on issues such as unemployment, inflation, and crime. "The only confrontation I want is against violence, unemployment, corruption and other problems in Venezuela," he said. The failure of Capriles to respond to the attacks prompted an even more aggressive President Chavez to taunt him further. "The loser is avoiding me. His advisers tell him not to confront me. You will have to confront me or run away," Chavez said. "Take off your mask. The only place you're going to govern is the land of Tarzan and his monkey Cheetah." Capriles was not the only candidate in the original presidential primary to be ridiculed. Maria Corina Machado challenged Chavez to a debate last month, and Chavez replied, "The fly doesn't hunt the eagle." The Chvez regime consistently refuses to explain how such an oil-rich country has fallen financially and failed the people. The squandering and unaccountability of Venezuelas vast oil revenues remains a mystery to the Venezuelan populace. The vast amounts of oil revenue being received by the Venezuelan government, along with the lack of critical and necessary controls, became a strong incentive for the Chavez regimes corruption. Chavezs dictatorial rule and tenure is said to be the one of the most corrupt in the world. According to the Venezuelan Central Bank, about $22.5 billion had been transferred to accounts abroad by the Chvez government since 2004. About $12 billion of that amount remained unaccounted for. Former Venezuelan Central Bank officer Jos Guerra stated that some of that money had been used by the Chvez government to buy political loyalties in the region in order to consolidate his political project and some has been donated to Cuba and Bolivia, among other countries. He added that a more detailed analysis, if made, might indicate that the amounts transferred abroad are far greater, since accounts receivable from oil sales to politically friendly countries also remained unaccounted for. Reports by the group Militares Democrticos, a group of former or retired army officers, claimed that the government of Hugo Chvez ordered the transport of a substantial amount of the countrys gold reserves from the Central Bank to Fuerte Tiuna-13 the military garrison that had become Chavezs stronghold. One report quoted General Jorge Luis Garca Carneiro alleging that the gold was transferred under the direct orders of Hugo Chvez. Over Chavezs ruling tenure he has been on a billions of dollars shopping spree for weapons in Russia, and other countries for his so called Bolivarian

Revolution. The fact is that Chavezs true revolution is the banner he carries for Fidel Castros original murdering revolution. Much of Hugo Chavezs verbal and venomous regurgitations are borrowed from his mentor and idyllic persona, Cuba's Fidel Castro. The borrowed page of doctrine, from Mr. Castro's fifty-plus years of oppressive rule against the Cuban people, demonstrates a verbatim diatribe of US paranoia that is used by the two leftist leaders to justify defense and espionage spending. These actions at great peril to the sustenance of the Venezuelan and Cuban people that are in dire need of relief. Both Mr. Castro and Mr. Chvez believe they clearly see the CIA in their soup and must defend against invasion as the poor and oppressed try to feed their families and sustenance to have a decent quality of life and humanity. Not a problem for Chavez or the Castro brothers whose fortunes are reported to be in the multi millions. The tenure of the grossly failed Hugo Chvez rogue administration vastly lacks a record of transparency, disrespecting Venezuelans and the free world's right to be informed of a world leader's governance and ability to continue to lead a global nations people. So how can people now continue to trust an opaque Chvez, especially considering his past tirades and actions -- and trust must be the guidepost as Venezuelans go to the polls to decide their nation's future in what is hoped to be fair elections.. The decision is left to the Venezuelan people that must make their choice to proceed with a corrupt and deceitful Hugo Chavez that is unquestionably the worst leader in Venezuelas history, or to take a bold and proactive step for freedom and peace and tossing out the remnants of a failed regime that has stolen the dignity of a once proud and strong Venezuelan nation of vast wealth and resources.
