Highlights of Test Results
General information about the 2011 IRTON test sites is given in Tables 1 and 2. Entry designation,
cross, and country of origin are given in Table 3. The local checks used are listed in Table 4.
Temperature patterns based on minimum and maximum mean monthly temperatures during cropgrowing seasons at different test sites are shown in Figure 1. Mean monthly temperature below 20C is
classified as low temperature (cold stress). Patterns of cold stress at each test site are described in the
following table: The trial at Amol, Iran was not subjected to cold stress. Temperature data from Hangzhou
(China) and Mingora (Pakistan) were not received.
