Introduction
I graduated with a BA Multimedia from Brighton University, after doing a one year diploma in Visual Communication at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design (BIAD) in 2000. I recently studied for a Journalism MA at Kingston University in order to focus on becoming a documentary / multimedia journalist. I worked in Tokyo as a motion graphic designer for a start-up media company called Bulbous Cell in 2007/2008. Since then I worked as a Video Editor in Paris for the American Director Maria Beatty on her film: Post Apocalyptic Cowgirls My last project was for Skin Two magazine and Playboy TV where I pitched, directed and edited a 12 part series of documentaries and short films for broadcast. I have a comprehensive range of skills in a diverse range of software. My strongest skills are in Photoshop, After Effects and Final Cut Pro, and whilst my passion is new media, Im equipped to produce to Broadcast specifications. My youth was spent as a VJ and video artist, and I have designed idents and promos for a wide range of clients in the music and fashion industry. My style is deliberately wild and youthful, explosive, provocative and fun. I can also do web design in Wordpress and I have skills in HTML and Flash Animation. Im great with social media like youtube, facebook and blogs and understand the digital landscape like a native. My written communication skills are strong also I worked as an Interactive Editor for the River Online during my MA, and Im good at organizing and working with teams. For the last two years I have been studying Tibetan Buddhism and Meditation in a monastic retreat, I have recently returned to London in order to focus on my career.

Experience
Samye Ling Tibetan Monastery 2010-2012

Working as a Graphic Designer and Sign painter, I also volunteered in all aspects of running the monastery and retreat including looking after guests, cooking, cleaning and gardening. (New Media is more fun, but this was useful experience too!) Playboy TV/Skin Two Magazine 2008-2009

Working in HDV with a team of 9 people to produce a 12 part Series for broadcast. 10 episodes are adult films, the remaining two are documentaries based around the magazine Skin Twos annual nightclub event Skin Two Rubber Ball.

Bulbous Cell - Tokyo

2006-2008

As creative director I worked on a number of pitches for clients in the fashion and music industry including Rimmel, Adidas and Uni Qlo. I directed and edited model shoots, made sales calls and liased with Japanese and American clients, as well as participating in HR.

Additional
I hold a full, valid UK Drivers Licence. I shoot HDV with a SONY Z1 Camera and I have lights and a wide range of professional production equipment. I edit on a iMac with Final Cut Pro and After Effects etc. I speak intermediate French and Basic Japanese. References available on request.
