WHEN THE ANCIENT HOLY SCRIPTURES WERE BEING TRANSLATED INTO HELLENISTIC GREEK, (THE SEPTUAGINT) HE HAD QUESTIONED THE WORD VIRGIN FOR THE MOTHER OF THE MESSIAH SO ARCHANGEL GABRIEL NOT ONLY TOLD HIM THAT TRULY A VIRGIN WOULD BEAR THE MESSIAH THE INCARNATE SON OF GOD BUT THAT ST SYMEON WOULD LIVE TO WITNESS IT PERSONALLY.
