TIMELINE is a Premium Tumblr Theme that was designed to view your tumblog as timelines. This is a personal theme thats suitable in use for people who have an active and enjoyable life. Open index.html or index.txt file in any text editor (Notepad or TextEdit) and copy all content to clipboard. Go to your Tumblr Dashboard (www.tumblr.com/dashboard) and select your Tumblr page. Select the Customize theme option. Hit Edit HTML button.

Delete all content text and insert/paste code from clipboard that you have copied from index file.

Go back to the appearance setting by hitting the Appearance button. Hit Save button followed by Close button then go to your Tumblr URL to see the preview.

If your blog looks weird, you can simply click Reset Default at the bottom of Appearance panels the hit Save and Close button again.

You can go back to Customize theme option to customize the look of your blog. COLORING With this you will be able to change the theme with unlimited color on Appearance panel. Background : to change the background color Link : the color of Links Tiimeline : the color of the line and circles for timeline with icon posts at the left side of the content on index page. CUSTOM IMAGES Upload image for favicon, the logo, background and image slider. Note! You need to prepare the image upload according to this sizes: Background : any size you want (JPG or PNG) Favicon : 16 x 16 pixels Logo : 220 x 30 pixels or less (If you dont have a logo, just leave it with your blog Title) Image Slider : bigger is better. Best size are 1400 x 440 pixels. It limited with 400 pixels height of slider content.

ADDING URL TO IMAGE SLIDER You can also adding the URL destination of each image that you uploaded and when you click the image from slider it linked to specific URL. Change the # with the URL. Please use full address (http://...) You need to select Enabled Image Slider to display it on your blog. Or if you dont have any image to display or want to disabled it, just simply deselect Enabled Image Slider. ADDING SOCIAL LINKS You can add your social accounts to your Tumblr such as Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Flickr, YouTube, Dribbble, Vimeo and Skype. Simply fill the text area with your account (sample shows at the picture aside). If you dont have an account of one of these, just leave the text area empty. DISQUS & GOOGLE ANALYTICS You can enabled commenting for your blog by filling the text area in Disqus Shortname section with your own Disqus shortname. And your Google Analytics ID for your blog tracking (Example: UA-12345678-1).

ENABLED / DISABLED FEATURES

Timeline Tumblr theme allows you to enabled/disabled some great widgets as shown in the picture below. Fixed Background Image Select this option to make your background image fixed when scrolling. Enabled Image Slider Show / Hide Widgets Select this if you want to enable Image Slider on your blog. Select for Enabled Facebook, Tag Cloud, Likes, Following and Flickr to show these widgets on your blog.

ADDING INSTAGRAM WIDGET

If you have an instagram account, you can add the widget to your tumblr by filling the Instagram Account with your User ID. Instagram User ID is the number that you find at your photo URL, its usually numbers behind after the sign _ (underscore). (example: http://web.stagram.com/p/130017046873363330_72163 ) referred to the example, 72163 is the User ID. Search your Instagram photo URL from here http://web.stagram.com/search/ Or you can follow this step http://instagram.heroku.com/help to help retrive your User IDs. All you need to do is plug in the URL of an uploaded photo and go from there.
