WIRING DIAGRAM

Wiring Instructions: See illustration labeled wiring diagram: 1.) The back of the Olympian Siren power supply is physically labeled, as shown in the diagram. The Olympian Siren functions as an all-in-one control panel. The labels shown on the back of the power supply (A- J) allow for control of vehicle lighting or equipment from the Olympian control head. The siren tones are labeled on the wiring diagram and are the following, Wail, Yelp, Pierce, Momentary Horn, Momentary Pierce, Momentary High Wail. These siren tones are already programmed onto the switches shown on the diagram. Please note that the system will automatically deactivate one siren tone if another is activated. 2.) Extend the red (+), 8 gauge wire from the power supply to the positive (+) post of the vehicles battery with the use of 8 gauge wire. 3.) Run a 12-20 gauge wire from the Power (_) outlet on the power supply to the vehicles chassis ground. Run a 12-20 gauge wire from the Power (+) on the power supply to the positive (+) post of the vehicle battery. 4.) To control a light, siren tone or function, make sure the product is grounded to the vehicles battery or chassis ground(as shown in the prior diagram). Wire the red (+) wire of the product to one of the labeled outlets(A- J) or (M1-M3) on the back of the power supply with the use of the appropriate wire length. For example, (as shown with the beacon in the illustration) the product is grounded and the red (+) wire is connected to the I labeled outlet. The beacon would be activated by the corresponding button on the control head. **Please note that M1-M3 serve as 30 amp outlets, which correspond to the pursuit buttons. The pursuit buttons are progressive switches. 5.) There are two momentary switches on the panel, outlet E and outlet J. To control or change the flash patterns of a product, connect the flash pattern cable or flash pattern changer wire from the product into the flash mode outlet on the back of the power supply. The outlet is labeled Flash on the back of the power supply. Make sure Step 3 has been executed for the product. Multiple flash pattern changer wires from different products can be wired into these outlets. The button labeled E and J on the illustration to the right indicates the corresponding buttons for these outlets 6.) Continue to wire lighting or vehicle equipment into the outlets from A- J and M1-M3 to control them from the 13 corresponding buttons on the control head. Each A-J outlet is rated at 10 amps and M1-M3 are rated at 30 amps, so multiple lights or functions can be wired into an outlet, depending on the amperage of the products. More than one function of a lighthead or vehicle equipment can be wired into multiple outlets as desired. For example, all rear lights may be wired into M1 and front lights wired into M2. When M2 is engaged both rear and front lights will be activated (see page 7 for additional information.) 7.)To connect a speaker to the Olympian Siren, wire the two speaker wires (color dependent on manufacturer build) from the speaker into one of the two Power/Speaker labeled Input on the back of the power supply. 9.) After wiring in products and equipment into the A- J labeled outlets of the power supply and into the flash mode outlet as desired, connect the outlet labeled Controller on the back of the power supply to the RJ45 port of the Olympian control head with the provided 15 ft RJ45 cable. 10.) Connect the Microphone cable included to the Microphone Input (labeled) on the back of the power supply. 11.) As shown in the illustration, the power switch must be pushed to the right to activate the control head. Sliding the switch to the left will turn off the control head, as well as any activated equipment. When the switch is reactivated, all connected equipment to the outputs will be on off mode until reactivated by pushing the corresponding button. 12.) Make sure to label the buttons on the control head with the provided legends, according to how the button was wired. Please note that the siren tones are already pre-wired and can not be changed.

Applying Pursuit Functions:

1.) The Olympian control panel features three pursuit functions. M1, M2 and M3 serve as progressive switches. M1 will activate the equipment wired into the M1 output on the power suply. M2 will activate the functions of M1 and the equipment wired into the M2 output on the power suply. M3 will activate the functions of M1 and M2 and the equipment wired into the M3 output on the power suply. 2.) Label the pursuit button with the provided sticker legend. 3.) To deactivate a pursuit switch, press the button again.
