II Revenger
Let's talk about our revenger. The Lord is our revenger.
Those who trouble His election find out in short order
how very able our Father is to avenge those who serve
Him. Let's begin our study in the Book of Hebrews.
Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have
received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no
- - more ~rifice for runs, _ _
This verse applies only to those who stood with God
against Satan in the first earth age, His elect. If one of
God's elect refuses to allow the Holy Spirit to speak
through them when they are delivered up, it is unforgiveable.
Hebrews 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judg­
ment, and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries,
Our Father is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29). Those
who stand against Him, and His election, will be de­
stroyed. Vengeance belongs to God.
Hebrews 10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without
mercy under two or three witnesses: ~ Of how much
sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy,
who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath
counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith He was
sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto
the Spirit of grace?
What is the Spirit of grace? The Holy Spirit, of
course. As it is written in Mark 13 and Luke 12, for one
of God's elect to refuse the Holy Spirit is unpardonable.
Hebrews 10:30 For we know Him that hath said, "Ven­
geance belongeth unto Me, I will recompense, saith the
LORD." And again, "The.. LORD shall judge His_ ef!0p/~:
God takes care of His Own. He is our revenger.
Hebrews 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands
of the living God.
Don't fear anyone who can kill your flesh body. Fear
Him Who is able to destroy both your flesh and soul
(Matt. 10:28). Only God can destroy your soul.
Hebrews 10:32 But call to remembrance the former
days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a
great fight of afflictions;
Since you came into the truth, you have probably
been mocked by others. Let them mock. They have their
reward, and you have your reward.
Hebrews 10:33 Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock
both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye
became companions of them that were so used.
God's election hold together as a family.

Hebrews 10:35 Cast not aW3Y therefore your confidence.
which hath great recompence of reward. 1Q For ye have
need of patience, that, after ye /lave done the will of God,
ye might receive the promise.
You can have confidence in your Father, because He
loves and rewards those who do His will.
Hebrews 10:37 For yet a little while, and He That shall
come will come, and will not tarry. Jl Now the just shall
live by faith: but if any man draw back, My soul shafl
have no pleasure in Him.
The sands of the hourglass arc !!,,·,',ing. The Lord 'Nill
return. I know you believe this is a fact.
Hebrews 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back
unto perdition; but of them that believe to tile saving of
the soul.
You believe in God's pronllSe~, and eternal life will be
your reward. But those who draw back and are unbelievers
will not have eternal life. Let's contlllue our study in the
Book of Luke. God will avenge His elect.
Luke 18:1 And He spake a parable unto them to this
end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
~-~,---'
God wants you to talk to Him - through prayer. Be
honest with Him. If there is something you really need to
serve Him, don't give up. Keep praying. Don't be a quitter.
Luke 18:2 Saying, "There wa,:; in a city a judge, which
feared not God, neither regarded man:
This was one self-centered man.
Luke 18:3 And there was a widow in that city; and she
came unto him, saying, 'Avenge me of mine adversary.'
This widow was seeking a revenger.
Luke 18:4 And he would not for a while: but afterward
he said within himself, 'Though I fear not God, nor rogard
man; 2 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge
her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. on
God wants you to be persistent in your prayers, just
as the widow was persistent with this judge.
Luke 18:6 And the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge
saith. l And shall not God avenge His own elect, which
cry day and night unto Him, though He bear long with
them?
God takes care of His elect. Why? They stood with
Him against Satan in the first earth age, and He knows
He can depend on them to do so in this earth age. Don't
give up. Don't ever quit. Have patience. God does.
Luke 18:8 I tell you that He will avenge them speedily.
Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall He find
faith on the earth?"
That is the big question. It seems more and more
people turn away from the Word' of God. When Jesus
returns, will He find anyone with faith? I know He will,
because so many around the world are hungry for His
Word. His Word strengthens our faith. The fact that Father
is our revenger strengthens our faith. Let's continue with
the song of Moses. The song God's election who over­
come will be singing, when Christ returns (Revelation 15:3).
We find the song of Moses in Deuteronomy 32.
Deuteronomy 32:30 How should one chase a thousand,
and two put ten thousand to flight, except their Rock had
sold them, and the LORD had shut them up?
If God is on your side, you don't have to worry about
which side is going to be victorious.
Deuteronomy 32:31 For their rock is not as our Rock,
even our enemies themselves being judges.
Their rock is Satan. Our Rock is Jesus Christ.
Deuteronomy 32:32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom,
and the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of
gall, their clusters are bitter: ~ Their wine is the poison
of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.
Sodom and Gomorrah equals perversion. Their perver­
sion poisons the minds of God's children. Fill your mind
with God's Word, not their poison.
Deuteronomy 32:34 Is not this laid up in store with Me,
and sealed up among My treasures?
This is our Father speaking.
Deuteronomy 32:35 To Me belongeth vengeance, and
recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day
of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shaH
come upon them make haste.
Those who are not on the Rock will slide. God is our
revenger. You have nothing to fear.
Deuteronomv 32:36 For the LORD shall judge His People
and repent Himself for His servants, when He seeth that
their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.
Do all you are able to do, and then the Lord will step
in and take care of what we can't handle. You can count
of Him. He is our revenger.
Deuteronomy 32:37 And He shall say, Where are their
gods, their rock in whom they trusted, !l§ Which did eat
the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink
offerings? Let them rise up and help you, and be your
protection.
God isn't going to be happy with those who worship
antichrist. He is going to tell them to go seek protection
and salvation from their god, the antichrist.
Deuteronomy 32:39 See now that I, even I, am He, and
there is no god with Me: I kill and I make alive; I
wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver
out of My hand. 1.Q For I lift up My hand to heaven, and
say, I live for ever.
Being in Father's good graces is the only way you
can live for ever. He is in charge. He is the judge.
Df!uteronomy 32:41 If I w~et My glittering sword, and
Mme hand take hold on Judgment; I will render ven­
geance to Mine enemies, and will reward them that hate
Me. ~ I will make Mine arrows drunk with blood, and
My sword shall devour flesh; and that with the blood of
the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of
revenges upon the enemy.
Do you have any reason to fear God? No! He isn't
angry with you. He is only angry with the enemy. These
Scriptures should increase your faith.
Deuteronomy 32:43 Rejoice, 0 ye nations, with His people:
for He will avenge the blood of His servants, and will
render vengeance to His adversaries, and will be merciful
unto His land, and to His people.
God is our revenger. The enemy doesn't have any
hope, unless they change their ways. In conclusion, turn
with me to II Thessalonians.
II Thessalonians 1:1 Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus,
unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father
and the Lord Jesus Christ: l Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
This is Paul's salutation to the Thessalonians.
II Thessalonians 1:3 We are bound to thank God always
for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith
groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you
all tow,ard eac!, other aboundeth; 1. So that we ourselves
glory 'I? y~u In the churches <:f God for your patience
and faIth In all your persecutions and tribulations that
ye endure:
Paul was very proud of the Thessalonians.
II Thessalonians 1:5 Which is a manifest token of the
righteous judgment ~f God, that ye may be counted
worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:
.§ Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense
tribulation to them that trouble you;
I have seen this happen time and time again. If
someone troubles a servant of God, He will take care of
the enemy. It is the righteous thing for Him to do.
II Thessalonians 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest
with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from
heaven with His mighty angels, ! In flaming fire, taking
vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey
not the gospel of our L~rd Jesus Christ:
There is a day of reckoning coming. The cup of
God's wrath will be poured out on His enemies. They will
either straighten up, or go into the lake of fire with Satan.
God is our revenger.
