Geachte collega`s, het is nog wel erg vroeg om over Kerst te beginnen, maar het is mijn ervaring, dat de agenda in de maand december snel vol raakt met allerlei afspraken. ik verzoek jullie daarom nu al om aan jullie leden/donateurs de data door te geven van de door onze Fanfare geplande Kerstconcerten. de kosten bedragen 5,= p.p. Trainingstocht van het Echo team

Het "Echo Team" LDP 2012 heeft dit weekend een pittige trainingstocht op Terschelling volbracht. Team lid Kees (al sinds 1969 woonachtig op Terschelling) had een paar mooie routes uitgezet. Na eerst een portie fish 'n chips naar binnen geslagen te hebben werden we meteen meegenomen de duinen in. Bleek dat Kees een complete battletour in elkaar gezet had !!! Op Terschelling zijn nog veel stukken van de Atlantikwall bewaard gebleven. Voor we het wisten keken we over West heen vanaf het dak van een grote bunker die in de oorlog fungeerde als radarpost/luisterpost. Kees praatte ons helemaal bij over gevechtsbunkers, luisterposten, een blindganger die in de haven afgeketst was en over het dorp gevlogen was en nog veel meer. Via bos en duin kwamen we langs nog meer bunkers. Sommigen nog goed te zien, anderen bijna helemaal verdwenen onder het duinzand of bossage. Na 8 kilometer hobbelen en zweten kwamen we bij de overnachtingsplaats op de SBB-camping in Lies aan. Tent opzetten of bivi-bag uitrollen, sterke verhalen vertellen en daarna lekker slapen. 's Nachts echt infanteristenweer gehad. Het regende flink. De volgende dag onze tocht met gids Kees vervolgd door de duinen en over het strand. Dankzij de overvloedige regen was het strand redelijk hard. Prima weer wisselde zich af met buien en felle buien. Weer diverse bunkers gezien waaronder officiersverblijven, een gaarkeuken-bunker en gemetselde loopgraven. Ook zagen we diverse bunkers die gepacht worden door particulieren en waarvan vakantiehuisjes gemaakt zijn. Kees wist ons heel veel te vertellen over een eiland dat ik toch alleen maar als toerist ken. Na het rustpunt bij de KNRM-kazerne trakteerde Kees ons nog op een tocht door de duinen waarbij we langs een oude Nederlandse bunker uit de eerste wereldoorlog kwamen. Hierna gingen we weer richting West langs de oude bevoorradingsweg van de bunker waar weinig meer dan een karrepad van over was. In West aangekomen liepen we in vol ornaat door de hoofdstraat om af te sluiten op een welverdiend terras. Participation: Participation in NISC 2012 is open to teams consisting of 3 marksmen. Only a maximum of 45 teams can be enrolled ! NOTE: Civilians cannot have access to any military facility nor NISC activity. Registration and enrolment will be on a "first come, first served" basis. A maximum of 3 teams per participating organisation is applicable. Additional places can be offered if the maximum of 45 teams has not been reached.

In the Army Camp you follow the signs "NISC". Parking of private cars is only permitted on the marked parking places and parking area's. When arriving by train you should disembark at RAILWAY STATION EDE-WAGENINGEN. When you call (from there) tel. nr. 0031-650666998 (NISC-organisation LtCol Garrels), you will be picked up as soon as possible at the Railway Station by military transportation. It takes about 20 minutes to drive from the Railway Station to the Army Camp Harskamp. Upon arrival your personal and team identification will be checked at the registration desk. You are requested to pay the registration fee (cash) at that moment. NO CHECKS ACCEPTED. At the same time you are asked to sign a statement in which you declare that you shall not hold the Netherlands Ministry of Defence responsible in case of physical accidents or material damage. Each participant will receive a programme-booklet of NISC 2012 For the protection of their personal belongings all participants are to bring a small padlock to attach to their individual locker, which is next to the bed in the team bedrooms. On every bed you will find a quilt and sheets. (You dont need to bring your own sleeping bag! ) 6. The Shooting Competition The NISC 2012 competition will comprise three shooting exercises: the Glock 17 pistol, the rifle Fal 7,62 mm and the rifle Diemaco C7 5,56 mm. Briefings & Weapon Instructions will take place on Friday 19.30 hrs at Home Base Support .

A. Pistol Glock 17 The Glock exercise starts with a sighting practice of 5 rounds standing in 30 seconds. Practices 1 to 3 are counting practices. Practice 1 is 10 rounds in the prone position in 30 secs on 1 target. Practice 2 is 10 rounds kneeling in 30 seconds on 1 target. Practice 3 is standing 10 rounds in 30 seconds on 1 target, consisting of centric circles with points. All these practices are at a distance of 25 meters.

B. Rifle Diemaco C7 The Diemaco C7 exercise starts with a sighting practice of 6 rounds in 30 seconds at distances of consequently 100 meter, 200 meter and 300 meter. The counting exercise starts with practice 1: standing 10 rounds in 35 seconds at 1 target at 100 meter. Practice 2 is sitting 2 x 4 rounds in 35 seconds at 1 target at 100 meter. Practice 3 is kneeling 2 x 4 rounds in 8 times 3 seconds at 1 target at 200 meter. Practice 4 is in prone position 2 x 4 rounds in 8 times 3 seconds at 1 target at 300 meter.

C. Rifle FAL The FAL exercise is the same as the Diemaco C7 exercise. NOTE : In the booklet which you receive at the registration, youll find a more elaborate explanation of the three shooting exercises During the day you have the possibility to shoot in a virtual combat at the small arms trainer (SAT), which is located in the army camp. A shuttle-bus service will run constantly during the day. This experience is not a part of the competition. 7. Farewell and Departure The programme will end on Sunday the 14th of October 2012 at approximately 10.00 hrs. For participants travelling by train, transportation will be available to RAILWAY STATION EDE-WAGENINGEN. 8. Costs of participation The registration fee, covering the whole weekend, amounts (EUR) 65,= per person. ( 195,= per team).

This amount includes the meal at the ranges, the Gala Diner, awards, transportation and sleeping accommodation. This amount is to be paid (cash in Euro's) at the registration desk upon arrival on Friday. 9. Application of participation You are asked to inform the NISC-organisation by E-mail about your decision to participate in the NISC by using the application-form enclosed. The application form should be received by the NISC-organisation not later than the 20th of September 2012 (20-09-2012). Application forms are taken in and teams are enrolled in order of receipt. Enrolment of teams cannot be guaranteed in case of receiving the application forms after the 20th of September 2012. Bevrijdingstour Market Garden, deel 3.

Hierbij nodigen wij u uit voor deelname aan de Bevrijdingstour Market Garden deel 3, die gehouden zal worden op woensdag 3 oktober 2012. We behandelen de Britse luchtlandingen van de Britse Airborne Division in de omgeving van Arnhem, en de opmars richting Arnhem en de verovering van de brud over de rijn in Arnhem.

Lunch in restaurant Schoonoord, Main Dressing Station in september 1944 Verplaatsen naar St Elisabeths gasthuis. Uitleg gevechten 0nderlangsBovenover, schuilplaats gen Urquhart, Hospitaal Verplaatsen naar Rijnbrug en uitleg. Verplaatsen naar NH kerk in Oosterbeek-Laag met uitleg. Einde, bezoek Airborne begraafplaats. Verplaatsen naar de Elft Afsluiting.

Einde tour bij het wegrestaurant de Elft, adres: Bosschebaan 1 Velp, tel: 0486-472206, waar we gezamenlijk nog iets kunnen drinken ter afsluiting. Uiterlijk terug bij de parkeerplaats om 17.00 uur. Alle deelnemers krijgen een boekwerk waarin vermeld de opmarsroute, de luchtlandingen, gevechtshandelingen, kaarten, eenheden en bijzonderheden. De tour wordt georganiseerd door Guus Slenders en Leo Moleveld, met tevens als gids Wybo Boersma. De kosten voor deelname aan deze tour bedragen 25,00 p.p. en dit is inclusief busvervoer en gezamenlijke lunch, en koffie en een drankje na afloop in de Elft. Uitnodiging dagexcursie
Op zaterdag 20 oktober 2012 organiseert OVV Noord een excursie naar Fliegerhorst Deelen.
De excursie zal worden begeleid door een zeer ervaren en deskundige gids. Deze excursie bestaat uit een uitgebreid bezoek aan een enorme Duitse commandobunker Diogenes. e Deze bunker was tijdens de Tweede wereldoorlog het hoofdkwartier van de 3 Jagd-division/Luftwaffe. In heel Europa zijn twee van deze bunkers bewaard gebleven, waarvan deze in Schaarsbergen de enige is die bezichtigd kan worden. Tevens gaan we naar voormalige legeringcomplexen, brandstofdepot Me 163 raketjager, rolbanen, bommenlijn en hangars van de voormalige Luftwaffe nachtjachtbasis Alster. Dit alles bij elkaar is het grootste rijksmonument van Nederland. De dagindeling is als volgt: 08.45 uur verzamelen bij Eetcaf Stal Mansour, Kemperbergerweg 793, 6816 RW te Arnhem. Vanaf 09.00 uur beginnen we met een kop koffie, daarna een bezichtiging van de enorm grote Duitse commandobunker. Ongeveer 12.00 uur is er een buffetlunch in het eetcaf Stal Mansour. N de lunch omstreeks 13.00 uur gaan we een bezoek brengen aan het overige, zoals de legeringgebouwen, brandstofdepot, de hangars enz. enz. Rondom 15.30 uur zal het einde (bij het bekende eetcaf) van deze boeiende dagexcursie zijn. Er wordt in principe met eigen vervoer (auto) naar de verschillende locaties gereden. De kosten voor deze dagexcursie zijn 35.- p/p incl. kop koffie, documentatiemap, buffetlunch en een ervaren gids voor de gehele dag. Het tenue voor deze dag is tenue de ville/burger. Het aantal deelnemers bedraagt maximaal 40 personen, de echtgenote of vriendin zijn ook van harte welkom. De excursie kan alleen door gaan bij voldoende deelname, minimaal 15 personen. g) Preise Jede Mannschaft erhlt einer Urkunde. Die drei besten Mannschaften erhalten einen Pokal. Die beste Mannschaft erhlt den Wanderpokal. Die beste Mannschaft im Schieen erhlt einen Pokal. Die beste Mannschaft beim berwinden von Hindernissen erhlt einen Pokal. h) Zeitplan Ankunft Mannschaften mit langer Anreise am Freitagabend, Rest nach Zuziehung. Start der ersten Mannschaft um 07.30 Uhr am Samstag auf den Stationskreis, 20.00 Uhr Start erste Mannschaft Nachtphase.

Siegerehrung um 11.00 Uhr am Sonntag. Die Startfolge wird durch OrgStab Kalter Marsch ausgelost. Sptestens eine Wochen nach Meldeschluss erhalten die teilnehmenden Mannschaften eine schriftliche Benachrichtigung ber ihre Startzeit zugeschickt.
Ende der Dienstlichen Veranstaltung: Sonntag um 13.00 Uhr. i) Unterbringung Unterbringung erfolgt in der Sporthalle, Schlafsack und Isomatte bzw. Feldbett ist selbst mitzubringen. j) Wettkampfbestimmungen Whrend des Wettkampfes sind nur die durch die Leitung ausgegebenen Unterlagen / Hilfsmittel zu verwenden. Benutzung von Funktelefon (Handy) oder anderer Kommunikationsmittel sowie GPS-Gerte ist verboten und fhrt zur Disqualifikation. k) Reisekosten Reservisten aus dem Bereich LKdo BW erhalten auf Antrag die Fahrkosten erstattet.

1. Allgemein
Das Landeskommando Baden-Wrttemberg fhrt im Rahmen der Militrischen Frderung von Soldaten der Reserve den Militrischen Vielseitigkeitswettkampf Kalter Marsch vom 02. bis 03. Februar 2013 im Raum BRUCHSAL durch. Der Kalte Marsch wird in zwei Teilen durchgefhrt. Zunchst sind in einem Stationskreis (Technischer Teil) rund um die Kaserne einzelne Aufgaben zu lsen. Nach einer Ruhephase und einer Einweisung in die Lage erfolgt der Taktische Teil im bungsraum ROT bei Nacht. Fr diese bung sind gute krperliche Leistungsfhigkeit, gute allgemeine militrische Kenntnisse und eine entsprechende Motivation zur Gemeinschaftsleistung erforderlich. Die Einweisung in die Wettkampfaufgaben erfolgt in deutscher Sprache.

c) Anmeldung zum Wettkampf

Reservisten melden Teilnahme ber zustndige Geschftsstelle bzw. Feldwebel fr Reservisten. Aktive Mannschaften und Mannschaften aus dem Ausland melden ber ihre Dienststellen. Die Anzahl der startberechtigten Mannschaften sind auf 25 begrenzt. Mannschaften die nicht bercksichtigt werden knnen, werden durch den Veranstalter rechtzeitig informiert. Mannschaften mit Anreise am Freitagabend vermerken dies auf dem Anmeldeformular.

e) Wettkampfaufgaben (nderungen vorbehalten) Schieen mit G 36, P 8, MG 3, Granatpistole Schieen im AGSHP Orientierungsmarsch bei Nacht Fernmeldedienst berwinden von Hindernissen Fahrzeug- und Luftfahrzeugerkennung Handgranatenzielwurf Kraft- und Ausdauer, Gruppendynamik Gefechtsdienst Beobachten und Melden Sanittsdienst aller Truppen Waffendrill und kunde, Fremdwaffen Entfernungsschtzen Allgemein militrische Grundfertigkeiten und Kenntnisse f) Verpflegung Soldaten der Reserve und Grundwehrdienstleistende der Bundeswehr erhalten unentgeltliche Truppenverpflegung. Fr die Zeit- und Berufssoldaten wird die Verpflegung gegen Bezahlung bereitgestellt. Auf den Stationen und der Nachtphase wird keine Verpflegung bzw. Getrnke zugefhrt.
