The Joseph Company & the Two Ambushes

The chart below is a diagram of the dream that Kris Edler of Joseph International recently had (8-12-2012) and distributed to the Body of Christ. I have diagrammed it so that we might see where we are in the revelation. The Josephs have been in a season of testing for years and are now finishing that season and entering into a new season of the blessings and favor of God where God is about to ambush us with His blessings.

Enemy Ambush and a Divine Response

by Kristofer Edler www.Josephinternational.org Last night I had a dream about two spiritual ambushes that would impact marketplace Christians (Josephs). The first had already taken place (from the

enemy), but the second was coming later this fall (from heaven). In the first part of the dream, I saw a season of intensified spiritual warfare in the lives of the Josephs. Problematic attacks were ambushing these believers and seemed to come out of nowhere. Over time, these first ambush attacks impacted business, family life, finances, and health. In the dream, I saw the enemy approach a shepherd and ask for permission to assault the Josephs, and it immediately reminded me of a Job moment. In this instance, though, the Lord responded and said, "You may ambush them on the condition that I may vindicate the faithful with an equal season of blessing." The vindication of the Shepherd was the second ambush that would divinely surprise us and simultaneously combat the enemy ambush. The Response of the Lord: Psalm 65 Upon waking from the midnight dream, I heard the Holy Spirit say, "Psalm 65 will be my blessing." This Psalm is marked by first approaching the Lord and feasting in the goodness of His house, and speaks of a season of consecration. In verses 4-5 it reads, "How blessed those whom you choose and invite to dwell in your courts. We shall be filled with the good things of your house and of your holy temple. You will respond to us with the marvels of your saving justice, God our Savior, hope of the whole wide world, even the distant lands." This Psalm ends by describing a following time of abundance, supernatural provision, and accelerated blessing, which I believe will occur this fall / winter. Verse 9-10 says, "You visit the earth and make it fruitful, you fill it with riches; the river of God brims over with water, you provide the grain. To that end, you water its furrows abundantly...You crown the year with your generosity and richness seeps from your tracks..." The response of the Lord is to not only make the wrong things right, but to return what the enemy stole - with interest! The Response of Marketplace Believers As I have studied this Psalm over breakfast this morning, I am strongly feeling that we are currently "between" the times of testing and blessing. The response in this time is to be extreme faithfulness and a steadfast spirit that is consecrated to the Lord in an unprecedented way. Whatever it looks like, the response of the Josephs is to draw near and consecrate our hearts unto our King. In this passage, the blessing of the Lord came because the people had first drawn near. This is a conditional covenant. As Psalm 65 says, we are to dwell in the presence of God and be satisfied by His courts and sit at His table. The difficult part for marketplace believers would be in guarding their heart against bitterness for what was lost in the time of testing, and from taking up unnecessary offense. By maintaining simple, child-like faith, we will wage warfare against hopelessness and will be able to enjoy the season of consecrated faithfulness. Three tools that the Lord is giving marketplace saints to

walk this out are: 1. A Lifestyle of purposed adoration. It's imperative to adore the Lord strategically in this time. If the attacks against you have been financial, proclaim Jesus as your great Provider. If it's been against your health, declare Jesus the Healer. This magnifies the name of the Lord over the weightiness of the problems. 2. Child-like Faith. Perhaps the greatest weapon against unbelief is to simply believe. Believe that He is who He says He is, and then equally believe who He has called YOU to be. 3. Sound Wisdom. Equal to believing, we need to also surround ourselves with wise counsel (Proverbs 24). If we live with a focus on faith, the temptation is to throw wisdom out the door, which causes many to act foolishly. It's heavy on my heart to use both wisdom and revelation (practical and supernatural insight), as Paul describes to the church of Ephesus. Be Encouraged and Remain Steadfast Hopefully this message of encouragement has come at the right time for you. If you are one of those who are exiting a season of testing, remember that hope has been released and we are in a transitional time as marketplace believers. It's time to exercise faithfulness and a steadfast heart, and wait for our Mighty God to respond on our behalf with His divine ambush of blessing. Transition is in the air for marketplace believers and the question is: "What are we doing to consecrate this time for Him?"
