Fonts

The fonts used to represent Lee College have been carefully chosen for visual appeal and clarity.
It is important to present our message in a way that is clear, consistent and easy to comprehend.
Consistent use of uniform typefaces provides a recognizable link to our image and message.

AuBauerTextInitials Lee College

The font used in the Lee College title and logo shall be AuBauerTextInitials. Consistent use of
this font to present our name conveys an immediate and definite image of the institution.

Use of this font in text other than the lettertype shall be discouraged. This font is not to be
used in body copy. It is effective for display, but not for comprehensive thought contained in
passages of text.

Swank Gothic Bold

Swank Gothic Bold shall be used to give emphasis to text such as headings and titles, as well
as short sentences of importance. Again, this font will not be used in body copy.

Interstate

The font Interstate is used in body copy such as this manual. Interstate is a readable font that
offers good contrast to the AuBauerTextInitials and Swank Gothic Bold commonly used in Lee
College publications.

Myriad

The Myriad font family is also used in body copy such as this paragraph. It serves as a simple, yet
visually appealing font that offers contrast and inspires interest in large sections of text.

Standard Fonts

Use of standard computer fonts for desktop publishing and web shall be acceptable. Typical
fonts include the families of Arial, Helvetica, Times and Verdana. Font styles shall used taste-
fully and appropriate to the project. Typestyles used should be limited to no more than three
fonts, and styles such as italics and underlines shall be used only as necessary.
