The Ingathering: Sukkot 2012. Lev. 23: 34 44.

I.

The final festival of the Seventh month has arrived! Our journey to understanding these Holy Convocations begin with verse 34 as follows: Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month [shall be] the feast of tabernacles [for] seven days unto the LORD. For curiositys sake the number of Hebrew letters in this verse reveals a hidden message within. There are 61. This is the value of #990, beten, a fem. Noun meaning belly, or womb. Since the Tet and Tav are interchangeable, the root stem here, Tet-Nun and Tav Nun are seen in words that convey, a teacher, to repeat (repetition teaches) to rehearse, recount. The Bet prefixed infers house or bride. Thus the bellys contents repeat, rehearse the SEED or WORD within it. Incidentally, if you rearrange the letters to form Nun-Bet-Tet, #5027, nabat, it forms a word meaning to gaze intently at something. It is seen in Gen. 15:5 where Abraham is shown the heavens and his seed, which are depicted by their signs. If we put the clues above together we find: Sukkot is the festival where the fulfillment of the Prophecy of Gen. 3: 15 occurs! The Bride, which he, Abraham gazed upon, the teacher in the heavens, reveals the content of her womb The Seed The Word made flesh! It is not an accident this celebration begins on the 15th of the month, the day of the full moon a symbol of a full womb! Incidentally, the word in Hebrew used exclusively for a full moon, I.E. the moon of the 15th is #3677,

keceh and has a gematria of 85, the same as

#5521, cukkah! This word is translated a temporary booth, dwelling or thicket and can mean to hide or to weave together as in Ps. 139:13, where YHVH weaves a fetus within the womb. Gen. 22 speaks of the Ram whose horns were caught in the thicket! This Ram is symbolic of Messiah who died and is born again in order to redeem Fallen Man. The Seed of the Woman in His conflict with the Serpents Seed watches during these 7th month festivals as the Horns (Shofars) of the Ram are blown in victory! The Left Horn, known as the First Trump is blown at Yom Teruah, during the coronation of the King, while the Right Horn, the Last Trump is blown on Yom Kippurim! These signal the books are closed, judgment is set, Jubilee

is declared and the Wedding Mikveh entered into by the Rams Bride in preparation for the nuptial bliss of Sukkot!

II. The Festival of Sukkot! Again, the numbers reveal a hidden message: The gematria of the phrase equals 502. This is the value of #1319 - #1320: basar, translated as good news, or to bear tidings. It is also translated as flesh. It is during this festival Sukkot that the great news of Salvation, (the gospel message of the Torah/Word made flesh and dwelling YHVH tabernacles among us) is final realized! It is interesting to look at Scripture in view of this new understanding. Lets view Isaiah 61: 1: The Spirit of the Lord GOD [is] upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to [them that are] bound; The phrase above; because YHVH hath anointed me to preach; could also read: because YHVH hath anointed me for flesh! The word for anointed, #4886, mashach, means to anoint, to smear, but also to set apart or sanctify. To install one into a position! Yahshua was set apart, installed by YHVH into a fleshly body to bring the message of redemption! The message of Sukkot is to serve as a reminder of Israels temporary dwellings while in the wilderness. It is in fact, a reminder of the fleshly bodies that we dwell temporarily in. Because of Messiah Yahshua, we will exchange these temporary dwellings for an eternal one like that originally given to Adam & Eve, and as we come together during this Holy Convocation we are joined to Him, becoming One Echad in the Sukkah or Tent of His Flesh! We are literally put back into His Body! Rom. 8:1. If you closely examine the Hebrew language of Is. 61:1, there are some other words that give additional clues regarding how Yahshua would change His temporary vessel or body into an eternal sukkah or tabernacle (setting the pattern for us) and literally Tabernacling among men. One such clue is found in the simple Hebrew

ya`an, which means because, on account of, because of: If we had the Hey suffix to this word it becomes, #3284, ya`anah,
word translated; [because] #3282, a word meaning an unclean bird. Stop! Pay close attention, because it is only one letter different from #3124,

Yonah, a clean bird, specifically a Dove! How

apropos, since the SIGN OF JONAH was the only sign given by Yahshua concerning His being Messiah and His method of death. This verse could read: The Spirit of YHVH is upon me - The Dove Jonah- anointed Messiah in the flesh! Amazingly, the word ya`an, (because) has a gematria of 130, the same as Sinai Sukkot is a memorial of the preservation of Israel while in the wilderness of Sinai.

cakan, to be of service, to know someone intimately. It is close to #7931, shakan, to dwell with intimately, this word is
130 is also the value of #5532, the root of Mishkan Tabernacle, the place of intimacy with YHVH described by the Festival of Tabernacles! Yahshua is the Sukkah! II. There are many wonderful traditions celebrated during this festival. One in particular comes to mind: On the last day, that great day of the feast, Yahshua stood and cried out, saying, "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." John 7:37-38. Each day (except for the first day) of the festival, a group of priests would set out to gather large willows that they would wave back and forth as they proceeded toward the temple, thus making the sound of the wind or the ruach, Holy Spirit. While this was going on, another group of priests would proceed to the Pool of Siloam from which the High Priest would gather a picture full of "living water". Both groups would then return to the Temple, and while the group with the willows would circle the altar waving their willows, the High Priest with his water and his assistant with wine would both empty their pitchers on the southwest corner of the altar, thus picturing the coming of the Holy Spirit as living water. Shortly after the end of the first day of Sukkot, the priests would light four huge lamps in the Court of the Women, each with four huge bowls on each. Each bowl held 7 8 gallons of oil and had wicks made from "swaddling clothes", the worn out undergarments of the priests. When the lamps were all lit, it was said that they lit up the entire city of Jerusalem. Rev. 21:23 And the city [New Jerusalem] had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof. All the men would then begin dancing and singing in a great celebration. This rejoicing would last late into the night.

These ceremonies and celebrations continued throughout the festival. On the last (7th) day, a change was made to the ceremony. On this day the priests, instead of circling the altar one time, would circle it seven times; this time singing with a loud voice a song of redemption and salvation - Save now, I pray, O Lord; O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord . . . (Psalm 118:25-26). It would have been at the beginning of this ceremony just as both parties are entering their respective gates (with the Water Libation group led by a flute player known as The Pierced One) that Yahshuas disciples would have cried out this same Hosanna which is translated Save Now! This would have angered the Priests, who then commanded Him to silence His followers: Lk. 19: 37 40. It is these same stones which comprise the tabernacle or sukkah of YHVH that are yet crying out! As he continued, the flute player would call for the wind and living water to return to the temple/tabernacle! Ezek. 37 reminds us of the scattered bones/stones, #68,

eben, stones. However, the Alef indicates, I will, while the Bet-Nun spells
son. Thus, I will son you make you my son! These bones/stones/eben/sons have the wind-spirit and word-living water called back into them! The gematria of eben is 53, the same as #172, , `oholiybah, translated; My tent tabernacle is in her! SON OF MAN PROPHESY! As the water and wine are poured over the altar, those Priests with the willow branches would place them against it, forming a Sukkah or covering. Ironically, the word for willow is: #6155, `arab, translated willow or poplar. It can also mean a mixed group of people from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds and, it can mean to exchange, to pledge. Yahshua pledged Himself in exchange for the Outcasts of Israel, who will be at this great festival of Ingathering! The Rabbis teach this is the great festival where the gentiles will be coming in. The Hebrew word for Outcasts, #1760, dachah, means those driven away, a term associated with divorce. He reconciles the divorced or put away Bride to Himself. The gematria of dachah equals 17, the same as #2329, hug, a circle, to build into or on a circle. It has the same root as the word for festival, hag, to dance or march joyously in a circle. Incidentally, we march 7 times around the altar on the last day of the Festival, reminding us of Jericho the place of the outcast bride Rahab, who marries Joshua!
