Key Features
Dual Glass Lined Heating Elements increases life of the heating element and heats water faster
Dual Glass Lined Heating Elements provide extended life to the water heater by preventing Scale Formation on the element surface. They help in quick water heating. In the event of one glass lined element failing, the other element ensures that water gets heated. It is recommended in all areas that have hard water.
DUAL GLASS LINED HEATING ELEMENTS

Blue Diamond Glass Lining offers the best protection against tank corrosion
The new Blue Diamond technology with enhanced levels of zircon increases the life of the water heater. The lining is proven to be stronger and more water-resistant than any other in the Industry.
BLUE DIAMOND GLASS LINING

Digital Controls & Display helps set temperature and power options
The Control Panel has a LCD screen that displays electricity consumed and the set 0 0 temperature. The user can select the set temperature within the range of 25 C - 75 C and an input mode among 1kW, 2kW and 3kW. The preset settings wont change in the eventuality of a power cut or the power plug being pulled out by mistake.
ANODE ROD DIGITAL CONTROLS PROTECTION AND DISPLAY

Safety Valve helps to relieve and discharge water in case pressure or temperature exceeds preset limit
This water heater has a temperature and pressure safety valve. This valve is designed to automatically relieve and discharge water incase the pressure or temperature overshoots the preset limits
SAFETY VALVE

Thermal Cutout cuts off live line and zero line, in case of fault, ensuring safety
The breaker rapidly cuts off live line and zero line simultaneously to guarantee safety, in case the water heater happens to be faulty and water temperature exceeds the highest temperature preset in the thermostat.

Wall

1 Make sure that the wall can withstand at least twice the weight of water heater when completely filled with water. 2 Before locating the position for installation, make sure that there is a clearance of no less than 300 mm between the front of the heater and the wall. This allows easy opening of the decorative front panel for maintenance or to reset the thermal cutout when necessary. 3 Use a drill bit with diameter of 10mm to drill 4 holes at least 90mm deep in the wall. The four holes should be aligned horizontally and vertically. The horizontal distance between the 2 holes should be 120mm and the vertical distance should be 57mm as shown in the above diagram. 4 Insert the expansion anchors into the holes. Place the wall bracket over the expansion anchors and screw the two screws tight against the bracket. 5 Hang the water heater using the hanger hooks on the wall, through the 2 holes on its mounting bracket. Move the water heater downward to ensure that the holes are pressed against the root of the hanger hooks and ensure the water heater is fixed steadily.

Plumbing
1 Make necessary plumbing with reference to the installation diagram shown in diagram on next page. 2 Connect the safety valve in the water inlet [blue]. It must be installed at the side of the inlet pipe. It has been factory set at 0.8 MPa and is not adjustable. The discharge tube of this valve must face downward and the discharged water must be piped up to or within 15 cms above a suitable drain. Under any circumstances, the drain line cannot be blocked and must be open to atmosphere. Attention: The direction of arrow points to the water heater that indicates the direction of the water flow current. 3 Connect the hot water pipe to the outlet [red]. Attention: Make sure a suitable sealing tape is used for all connections to prevent leakage. Meanwhile, the safety valve must not be screwed too tight to prevent damage.

Electrical Connections
The power cord and plug are connected with this water heater. Find a separate socket for the power plug and make sure the socket is in contact with the plug.

Filling Water
1 Open a hot water faucet nearby to permit the air to escape. 2 Open the cold-water inlet valve fully, filling the heater and the piping. 3 Close the hot-water faucet when water flows continuously. 4 Check all the connections to see if there is any leak. In case of a leak, drain the heater completely, repair the leaking joint and then refill the heater.

Operation Instructions
Ensure the heater has been filled and switched on before the operation. 1 Switch on the power When the heater is switched on for the first time, the control board automatically runs self-check. During the self-check, the indicators will blink on and off after several seconds, and then goes in standby mode. Attention: When the water heater is switched on, after a power cut or power plug being pulled out by error, settings like power option, temperature settings, electric amount display and on/off status will remain as they were preset. 2 On/Off The water heater will be switched on after the on/off button is pressed. The default status of the control board working for the first time is as follows: Heating heating light is turned on; default setting of the temperature is 70 ; actual temperature will be displayed in the LCD panel. Temperature Setting This water heater displays the actual temperature and the set temperature. The actual temperature refers to the temperature of the water in the water heater; the set temperature refers to the temperature that the user expects the water heater to reach while heating the water. The user can choose to change the set temperature any time according to his or her need. When the power is switched on and it goes on stand by mode, press the or button once, for the set temperature to flash. The value of the set temperature can be increased/decreased by one unit when the button is pressed again. If the button is pressed continuously, the setting temperature increases / decreases continuously. If the button is released, it will exit the temperature setting mode after the flashing stops. The temperature setting is within 35 - 75. At temperature setting status, if any other button is pressed the set temperature will be adjusted. Meanwhile, exit the temperature setting mode, and enter the selection mode. 4 Power Selection Press button to choose input mode alternately among 1kW, 2Kw and 3kW in normal work status. The system default input is 2kW.
Power Set

Utility Meter You may review the amount of electricity [kWh] consumed by the water heater any time when the heater is switched on. Press button once and the display appears: 'Electric amount consumed by the water heater'. Press the button again to exit the display of the electric amount. Clear electric amount: Under normal working conditions without any setting operation, press and hold "electric amount" for 5 seconds to clear the electric amount displayed.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Check proper functioning of the safety valve every two months by opening and closing the test lever. The heating element should be checked annually for scale formation, caused by impurities in the water supply. Also, the anode should be checked annually and replaced when worn out over 60%. For cleaning the element or replacing the anode use the following procedure: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Switch off the electric supply to the water heater. Open the hot water taps until the water is not hot any more. Close cold water supply. Drain the water heater by removing the safety valve in the direction of the arrow as shown in diagram and opening the hot water taps. Take off the water heater from the hanger hook, when the water heater is empty. Remove the decorative front panel, unscrew the control board and heating assembly flange. Clean the container and the heating element assembly from scale by using a suitable acid or by gently scraping the scale. Replace anode if required. Remount the heating assembly flange.

10 Hang the water heater using the hanger hook on the wall through the 2 holes on its mounting bracket. Move the water heater downward to ensure that the holes are pressed against the root of the hanger hooks and ensure the water heater is fixed steadily. 11 Open cold water supply until water flows without interruption from hot water faucets. 12 Close the hot water taps and check for eventual leakage around the flange. 13 When there is no leakage, replace the decorative front panel. Then, switch on electric supply.
