Deans Scholars Program
Application for New Students

The Deans Scholars Degree offers a challenging and enriched educational experience for highachieving students who want to perform above the level normally expected. Entry will be considered for new students with a minimum base rank ATAR of 93 or above. Deans Scholars must maintain an Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 75 in each year of study to complete the program. Deans Scholars are encouraged to contribute to the scholarly life of the Faculty through events in the Facultys postgraduate program. Dean's Scholars will complete all requirements for their respective degrees and, where possible, may be permitted to take an accelerated program after their First session. Deans Scholars will receive special privileges including extended internet quota, extended Library access, $500 book allowance per year (pro-rata per sessions) and access to an academic mentor. The program is a distinction easily recognisable to future employers, giving you an edge in competitive employment situations. Students will need to complete and submit the below application form. Closing date for applications is 30 September.

Admission to the degree is by HSC result and application. HSC students who achieve a

bade rank ATAR of 93 or above will be considered. There is a limited intake.

Students must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 75 each year to continue in the

program.
The Deans Scholars degree is not a scholarship. If you wish to apply for a University

scholarship, please obtain an application from UniAdvice. The program is not offered in double degree combination.
