September 25, 2012 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my interest in an entry level position in Production and/or writing on the Game Show Network. In the past, I have worked as a screenwriter, story developer, production manager, production assistant and journalist. I love creating new stories, and I enjoy writing for both creativity and entertainment. I have written for The USA Boxing News for many years. I write articles on recent fights, research historical boxing matches, and travel to boxing matches around the country for the monthly newspaper. I have produced and written a teleplay for PBS, called Super Kids and Dad, which was made into a pilot by the network. I just finished my production internship at DreamWorks Animation in Glendale, CA. I have worked both in the technical and creative ends of the company. I worked for over three months on the movie, Rise of the Guardians, which will be released in theaters in November. At DreamWorks, and at many independent production companies before, I have developed a lot of experience in all aspects of production. I became a Production Manager at an independent production company, where I have learned how to manage finances, develop efficient technology and create great teams of individuals. Coinciding with the position of programming coordinator, I have worked in programming for major and independent studios for over 4 years now. I am fluent in Spanish, Outlook and Microsoft Office. I am an extremely hard worker, and I strive for new experiences and chances to help and assist people around me. Personally, I have grown up watching GSN, and I have seen every single game show the station has aired. I love it so much. I would be honored to work and thrive in this company.
