PROMOTER Lebo Mahoko holds a degree in communication science and post graduate Management certificate from UNISA and University of Free State , he is currently the only promoter licensed by Boxing South Africa in the Motheo Region. He is the Director of the Dream Team Fitness Gymnasium in Bloemfontein. His love for boxing started in 1988 when he was fighting as an amateur boxer. He never became professional boxer due to pressure from parents to focus on studies, he continued to follow boxing until he became a boxing promoter in 2007/8. He has successfully co promoted the National Baby Champs Tournament, a project of SABC Sport and Boxing South Africa to develop professional boxers, 2007 in Welkom. He hosted 9 Provinces Boxers for the follow up of the Baby Champs in 2008, He staged a provincial Title in 2009 and 2010 respectively. In 2011 he staged the first MACUFE BOXING THRILLER in which Themba Dr Ntsele Defended his title for the first time.

DR NTSELE THEMBA (THE CHAMPION)

Themba DoctorNtsele is 25 years old and currently the reigning South African flyweight champion. In his professional career he fought 18 fights, 15 wins, 3 losses and 1 draw. 9 of his wins were via knockouts He won the title in 2011 when he dethroned Xola Sifama in Orient Theartre in front of partisan and hostile crowd. He won on points over 12 rounds. He has made two successful defenses of his title and will be attempting to make third defense against Matsoake Moselesele his home boy from Welkom. It is interesting to note that both boxers ( Dr Ntsele) Champion and (Moselesele) the Challenger are both from Welkom and used to be stable mates. Dr Ntsele Defended his title for the first time against Anele Makhwelo from Western Cape during MACUFE 2011 Festival over 10 round technical knockout His second defense was against Mkholisi Bhonxa in Eastern Cape His Amateur record: Ntsele boasts 44 wins, 12 losses in 56 fights. Dr Ntsele is trained by the world famous Lehlohonolo Hands of Stone Ledwaba whose CV include a fight with Manny Pacman Pacquio

MATSOAKE MOSELESELE: CHALLENGER

The challenger Matsoake Moselesele is 27 years old and currently number one contender by Boxing South Africa ratings. In his professional career he has fought 19 fights, 13 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw. Moselesele is a graduate of the 2006 BSA and SABC Baby Champs programme where he defeated all his opponents in the fly weight division and was crowned national baby champ champion. In 2008 he challenged and lost to former five-time South African junior flyweight champion Mfundo Gwayana. His second attempt at championship was in 2009 against current IBO (International Boxing Organisation) Hekkie Buddler, he lost. His Amateur record: 49 fights, 41 wins, 8 losses. Motsoake Moselesele is trained by a former professional boxer, named phinda.
