Introduction
SRM -MDM is a Web-based environment provides catalog content management functions and a procurement catalog URL to call SRM-MDM Catalog is http://host:port/ SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM

Key fields in URL are Server name, Server password, Repository, User name, Password Server name: Server on which SAP MDM is installed and SRM-MDM repository mounted Server password: by default server password is blank, general recommendation is to set server password after installing MDM server

1. Open MDM console

2. Mount server

3. select change password

Creating User and Managing Security in MDM


Open Content catalog repository navigate to ADMIN-> users Right click Add user Fill table giving name password role and email address

By default SMS-MDM Catalog 2.0 has following roles

We can add all or depending upon security select relevant role and add
