I began taking We had to put off material from themeeting for a CK 12 site and few days... we putting them intostill met on skype Soft Chalk. Had and discussed many difficulties things as they with loosing for- went along matting and images when going straight from the website to Soft Chalk. Had to do several trial and error tests on how I was going to successfully get the material from the site into a Soft Chalk lesson. We sought help from my mother (who has been using the program for 3 years) and she helped us decide what we needed to do. Continued work- Created separate ing on transfer- folders for the ring material Soft Chalk from the website lessons and the to word docuWord Documents. I got ments. through Unit 1.

Continued working on transferring material from the website to word documents. Had to do more trial and error on website on how to best access the material without losing formatting in the transfer. Continued work Finally had the from previous process down day. and went much faster Began working on taking the information in word documents and putting them into Soft Chalk. Created Soft Chalk lessons for the first 3 chapters of material. Continued working on taking material from word documents and putting them into soft chalk lessons. I got through chapter 6. I also made a chart of units in the course and which chapters correspond to which unit.

Got together with mentor and did a soft chalk learn how session.we used the basic soft chalk lesson I had already created to learn how to format the lessons and made decisions on design, layout, format, etc. Applied the format and style we came up with to the previous soft chalks I had created. I got through Unit 2. I typed notes that I took during our Soft Chalk session and sent a copy to my mentor for her to have in her records. I also typed up a chart of all the tasks that I need to complete.

Started with Unit 3 and continued editing and formatting the Soft Chalk lessons. I took material from the word documents and put them into soft chalks up to chapter 9.
