Overcoming Barriers to Communication

The sender and the receiver have to work separately as well as together to remove the barriers to communication.

Senders responsibility Ensure message is sent to the right person Determine reasons for communication/motives Be clear about what is to be communicated Decide the best time for communication Use language which is clear and which the receiver will understand Select a location which will ensure proper reception, understanding and acceptance of the message
