With our shipping split joint being exactly the same as our standard panel joint, we meet or exceed SMACNA Leak Class 6 even with shipping splits. Factory witnessed cabinet leakage testing is commonly specified. ClimateCraft manufactures custom air handling units with professional pride at our 110,000 sq.ft. state-of-the-art plant located near downtown Oklahoma City. Here, the finest custom air handling units in the industry are manufactured. The U manufacturing flow has been designed with Lean Manufacturing principles enabling minimal work-in-process inventories and high velocity manufacturing. Lean manufacturing is augmented with a paperless intranet based document flow system, providing the optimal manufacturing system.

MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY
ClimateCraft is leading the indus try in manufacturing technology. Sheet metal panels are produced at a rate in excess of four per minute. This is accomplished utilizing a translator-generator with smart part number methodology. The part number is parsed providing the parametric information needed to produce the sheet metal panel. This information is quickly transferred to our network where our on-line state-of-the-art roll former picks up the information and produces the panels.

PANEL CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

State-of-the-art Design and Manufacturing Engineering software tools: ClimateCrafts rolled-formed panel construction provides unmatched strength via a moment-of-inertia of 1.26. Panels are bolted together with 5/16 diameter stainless steel bolts. The unique rolled panel joint provides an incredibly tight sealing cabinet. Integral seam gasket provides thermal isolation or thermal break between the exterior and interior panels ensuring sweat-free operation. Every panel can easily be individually removed. Unlike screwed panels, bolted construction ensures continued seal integrity after re-assembly. Standard panel construction is 16/20 double wall gauge galvanized steel exterior with 2 8.7-R value insulation. Available panel constructions include galvanized steel, aluminum or stainless steel, with 1 to 4 inches of insulation. Interior can be solid or perforated. ClimateCraft gray painted exterior is available. Our paint system includes acid cleaning of the panel and a baked on glossy polyester-ceramic. ClimateCrafts painting system has successfully passed ASTM B-117 1,000 hour salt spray testing and ASTM G-23 accelerated weathering testing.

BASE FRAME
ClimateCraft custom air handling units are provided with a rigid truss base frame system manufactured from thick structural steel tube completely welded. Double wall floors are standard completely insulated with 4 thick insulation.

ACCESS DOORS
ClimateCraft doors are specifically designed to be rugged and provide years of leak-free sealing. Doors are 3 inches thick as standard and are fully insulated with 8.7 R-value insulation. Doors are provided with an integral thermal break ensuring sweat-free operation. Heavy duty double wall stainless steel door frame system with integral thermal break, heavy duty 14gage stainless steel hinges with diameter pin are provided. Doors are designed to swing inward or outward as appropriate to swing against the unit internal pressure. Doors are interchangeable with unit panels, providing for easy field modification of left right hand changes and inward outward swings Door latches are manufactured from industrial strength cast brass. Rigid brass construction ensures no creep and loss of pressure integrity often experienced with zinc aluminum latches. Corrosion resistant stainless steel door latch shaft and keeper. Latch design is easily operable from both inside and outside of the unit. Latch design provides an integral padlock hasp.

DRAIN PANS
ClimateCrafts drain pans are manufactured from heavy duty 16 gauge corrosion resistant stainless steel. Drain pans are sloped eliminating standing water and are fully insulated.

COILS
ClimateCraft provides quality heat transfer coils that are ARI-Certified and bear the ARI label. Incredible flexibility is provided regarding coil configuration, construction materials, circuiting, etc.

ClimateCrafts dampers are AMCA certified Low-Leak as standard.

FANS
ClimateCraft uses fans that are AMCA Certified for BOTH Air and Sound and bear the AMCA certification label. Complete vibration testing is performed on all fans prior to shipment with testing reports available upon request.
