MIDDLE SCHOOL

Weekly Publication for Middle School Parents

Friday Bulletin
ISSUE # 11
WEEK OF OCTOBER 22 TO 25, 2012

From the Middle School Office

Dear Parents: Your active involvement in Parent-Teacher Conferences (PTCs) this past week was greatly appreciated. As the school year continues, we hope the connections made during the PTCs continue and strengthen communication between home and school. On Thursday, October 25 we will be celebrating Filipiniana with a barrio fiesta lunch, games, activities and performances. Together with the High School Philippine Cultural Club (PCC), our Middle School students are planning activities that will celebrate our host country and it should be an exciting afternoon. PCC shirts will also be on sale during lunch time in front of the cafeteria for 500.00 pesos, and students can wear the PCC shirt or their House shirt to school on Thursday. If they like, students can also wear a traditional Filipino outfit or their home country national outfit and participate in the parade around the school, which will take place at 12:00 noon. We look forward to enjoying the afternoon that the Philippine Cultural Club has organized. The October holiday starts on Friday, October 26 and classes resume on Monday, November 5. After the past twelve weeks the students and teachers have earned a well-deserved break. Enjoy the holiday! Yours in Education, Simon Gillespie Middle School Principal Clarissa Sayson Middle School Assistant Principal
