Our Missionaries to the Philippines

Bible Baptist Church of La Carlota City, Negros Occidental, was born in the heart of Bro. Edgar Nono, a graduate of Bible Baptist College, Katipunan, Cebu City. In 1979, he started a small church in Barangay San Miguel, La Carlota City. After a few years of pioneering, he cannot ignore his burden to start a church in the city proper which has more people. Bro. Nono was commissioned by Dr. Armie Jesalva of Bible Baptist Church, Cebu City to start a missionary work in La Carlota City. He started the church by planting the seed of the Word of God through personal contacts, soul winning, and home Bible studies. In August 1984, Dr Armie Jesalva came and organized the work into a local church with 120 chartered members. In 1986, God opened the door to start a Bible college, the Philippine Bible Baptist College. In 1988, the La Carlota Precious Jewels Christian School was born. In 2003, the Lord gave them a five-hectare (12.35 acre) property in the southern part of Negros Island, Caliling, Cauayan, for a Christian camp, Camp Canaan. Through the years, they have seen Gods hand changing lives, reaching families, and winning lost souls. To God be the glory!

Baby Shower for Bridget Weleski Tuesday, November 13, at 6 PM

Teenage girls and adult ladies are encouraged to shower Bridget with gifts for her first child. She is registered at Babies R Us and Target. The colors of their nursery are brown, beige, and cream.

There are friendly people at our Welcome Center in the lobby who will gladly assist you with any questions you may have during your visit. Allow us to make you feel at home during your visit. First-time adult visitors and families are asked to visit our Welcome Center to receive a hospitality bag with a gift card to Chick-fil-A.
