Concinnous of Man

164555; < Latin - concinnus - neatly arranged, elegant>

To clear the record, the writer is not a person of cloth, nor has the writer attended seminary. In fact the writer has been absent in the lords house for a long time. But the following appears to be a viable explanation, at least in this writers mind.

A functioning mind provides the mechanics for thinking, reasoning, perception and applying judgment. Confuse not the mind and brain as being one in the same as the mind operates within the envelope of the brain. The living body of man requires a functioning brain to sustain life of the body, but does not require a functioning mind to sustain the life of body. Advances in medical science provides the means and mechanism to place the brain in a state of non activity to allow a body to heal which means the brain will not experience pain, so far as we know.

Just like A-B-C or 1-2-3 there are two parts to a man, body and mind. A partial listing of body parts includes that of arms, legs, brain, feet. The second part being the mind lacks proof of existence until one opens mouth and begins to blabber. But like the world being in three dimensions, man is actually three dimensional with the third dimension being that of the spirit exists. No manmade machine or device has every seen or imaged the spirit or the thoughts of a mind, at best medical devices have only recorded electrical impulses that attend and affect the brain. This third part; lacks empirical proof a spirit resides in the mind of the body even especially when a body dies. Upon death and decay of the body, the other two parts are impossible to prove who and what we were. Unlike the body which will decay over time, the spirit will follow a course chosen by the mind.

One could reach a reasonable assumption that when the brain is not properly functioning, the mind may not be functioning correctly. This area of an improperly functioning brain I leave up to learned psychiatrics for detailed explanation.

Physical evidence supports beyond any reasonable doubt that a body exists and usually within that body is found a properly functioning brain. Beyond this body and looking into the mind, the spirit and thoughts of the mind are mere supposition and for those that are not of the body, one reaches inside their own mind for the proof that the others mind exists (husband, wife, child, etc.) this is belief. There are times the action of the body can be a reflection of the minds thoughts as in example, sacrificing ones life to save another, talking with intelligence. No proof exists except for the action of the body that serves the mind. Se we can believe in man, why is it so hard to believe in God?

A serious question arises; is it the spirit that follows the mind or is the mind guided by the spirit. One thing for certain based on modern day medical, once the body dies, the brain dies but does this mean the spirit has died? Unlike the brain being in a state of inactivity, death of the body also results in the death of the brain. As the mind guides the spirit or is it the other way around? Regardless, after the bodys death it is a virtual impossibility for the mind to change thoughts to guide the spirit. The mind has to make choices while the body is alive with a functioning brain.

God unlike Frankenstein can raise the body of the dead, but one would have to ask, did God also return the mind and spirit to the body, or is the rising of the body sufficient warning to the people. Does the spirit remain in Heaven? Your choice!

One grave concern, is there time after the body dies for the mind to seek the proof the spirit has reached Gods house or is eligible? I suspect the answer is yes, or it least thats what this mind is going to believe for those minds that have followed a righteous path with or without proof. Hence the actions of the body defined the mind thus the spirit should be allowed a choice. Heaven or Hell, not much choice, but like black and white, it will be the only choice available. Forgiveness of sin?

One must realize that when the universe was created, in almighty wisdom were the fruits of the world created to provide nutrition for the body. For the mind, God again provided, but have we listened? Both fruits of life are required for proper nourishment, for one without the other is fruitless.
