Corrigendum No. 14 Rates Circular No.

25 of 2008 GOVERNMENT OF INDIA (BHARAT SARKAR) MINISTRY OF RAILWAYS (RAIL MANTRALAYA) RAILWAY BOARD No.TCR/1078/2008/15 New Delhi, dated 13.04.2009 The General Managers All Indian Railways Sub: Standard rake size of BG/MG wagons for grant of trainload rate benefit. Ref: Boards letter of even number dated 13.06.2008 (Rates circular No.25 of 2008) and corrigendum thereto. 1.0 In terms of Amendment No.1 to Corrigendum No.5 to Rates Circular No.25 of 2008, the standard rake size for different wagons on Indian Railways for granting trainload rate benefit was notified. In terms of Rates Circular No.5, 21 and Corrigendum No.11 to Rates circular No.25 of 2008, the standard rake size for BOXNHL, BCNHL, BTAP, BTCS, BTAL and BTFLN wagons, for granting trainload rate benefit was also notified. The matter has been reviewed. It has been decided to revise the standard rake size of BCNA/BCNAHS wagons from 43/38 wagons to 42/38 wagons for granting trainload rate benefit. In view of the above, it has been decided to revise the Annexure-II attached with Rates Circular No.25 of 2008. Accordingly, the revised Annexure-II is enclosed herewith. All other details of Rates Circulars under reference will continue to apply unchanged. These circulars will come into force w.e.f. 30.04.2009. This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation and Safety Directorates and with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
