Agenda: 1. Presidents 1st semester report 2. Council system for the 2nd semester 3. Council activities for November 4. Focused Group Discussion on the 2013 National Elections Presiding Officer: Princess Kimberly V. Ubay-ubay, SBMSC President A. B. Prayer Kamustahan SBMSC makes it as a habit that every meeting shall be began with a prayer and a kamustahan right after. For the October 27 General Assembly, the kamustahan part was done by saying the name, department/office, and completing the line Never have I ever. C. Meeting proper 1. 1st agendum: Presidents 1st semester report SBMSC President, Princess Kimberly V. Ubay-ubay, gave her intensive Presidents report in the first semester. The report consisted of a thorough review of her platform SOAR which stands for Student Involvement, Order, Accountability, and Representation. The SBMSC President highlighted the activities, programs, and projects in the 1st semester which are aligned to her platform. Ms. Ubay-ubay also pinpointed the areas of the student council which need improvement in the next semester. Hence, she included in her report the student councils 2nd semester targets. The major targets that SBMSC shall accomplish for the next semester are the following: improved information dissemination system, quick response mechanism, and providing awareness campaigns to SBM students on national and local issues. 2. 2nd agendum: Council system for the 2nd semester The present members in the meeting discussed how SBMSC, in general, can improve its

services as well as its neutral representation for the 2nd semester. The members made a strategic plan to accomplish these. SBMSC also highlighted the strategy on how to update the student body on the concerns that were brought up during the Speak Up!, IRepresent Block Representatives Summit, and STRAW on tables. 3. Council activities for November SBMSC thoroughly discussed the student councils activities for November. The members of the meeting tackled the updates for each activity in November. SBMSC will conduct the Green is Cash seminar on November 14 which is a seminar that will promote social entrepreneurship to aspiring entrepreneurs. It will also conduct the Eagles Youth Leaders Assembly on Nov. 16 18 which is a business leadership program to young leaders in SBM. It will also conduct the TindaJuan livelihood Program on Nov.17 which is a social advocacy of the student council to teach business and livelihood to the adopted community of SBMSC, Macasandig Evacuation Area. It will also conduct the 1st phase of the Northern Mindanao Youth Business Cup on November 24 which aims to engage high school students across Region 10 in becoming agents of sustainable development in the country.

4. Focused group discussion n the 2013 National elections SBMSC discussed about how the student council can engage the student body to participate in the 2013 National elections. SBMSC considered it necessary for the students to be aware of the upcoming national elections since it directly affects the youth. SBMSC made a plan to further fulfil its promise to make its constituency be socially aware and involved.
