Academic Year : 2009-2010 Subject : T.L.E. 1 (General Woodworking and Graphic Arts) Quarter : Fourth Unit/ Week No. : Seventh Week Topic : Silk Screen Printing Project Plan Making No. of Days : One Day (March 8, 2010) TPO : The students will be able to create their own project plan of silk screen as their project with less supervision of the teacher through preparing their ownmade project plan as a gained experience from their past lesson about project plan making. PLANTILLA / LESSON PLAN LEARNING OBJECTIVE At the end of the period, the students will be able to: LECTURE 1: 1. redefine what a project plan is; 2. state and explain the importance of a project plan as a guide for the completion of the project; 3. prepare the sketch of the project; 4. accomplish a project plan for the silk screen project. LEARNING CONTENT PRIOR KNOWLEDGE: Basic knowledge and skills in project planning and project making. NEW KNOWLEDGE: A project plan is a complete prepared plan that has all the necessary information necessary to the completion of the planned project including the sketch of your project, the materials needed and of course the crucial steps one should strictly follow in the construction of your project, etc. ENDURING UNDERSTANDING Making a project plan is planning what will happen to your project and what are the steps you will follow so as to avoid mistakes, get more work done and do better work during project making and absolutely not LEARNING STRATEGIES/ ACTIVITIES A. Introduction: Motivation: SYNTHESIS OF THE BASIC PRINCIPLES IN PROJETCT PLANNING 1. The teacher will assess if the students still retain the learning they have during the activities applying the basic knowledge and skills in project planning and making. 2. The students will then share their insights and reactions regarding the activities theyve tried. Process Questions: 1. Still remember how did you make your project plan during the project making activity the previous weeks? Can you still recall how did you arrive with a substantial project plan? 2. Why do you think Im asking you these things when youve already made a project plan? What do you think? B. Interaction: GIVING OF INSTRUCTIONS AND RAISING OF QUESTIONS EVALUATION/ ASSESSMENT C. Integration: PROJECT PLAN MAKING 1. The student will make their own project plan about silk screen printing following the format they have during the recent project plan making activity. SYNTHESIS: Project planning is a plan well spent since learning in project making is at its peak and so, it ensures the concrete manifestation of the project serving as its guide all throughout the activity duration.

PLANTILLA / LESSON PLAN Laboratory Plan LEARNING OBJECTIVE At the end of the period, the students will be able to: LABORATORY 1 and 2: 1. demonstrate the concepts and principles of silk screen printing; 2. observe safety practices while working inside the shop; 3. perform cutting of the design and peeling off of the waste film with precision, accuracy and creativity. LABORATORY 3: LEARNING CONTENT PRIOR KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge and skills on the basic silk screen process: precise cutting peeling off of the waste film adhering using lacquer thinner NEW KNOWLEDGE: Observance of proper attitude and disposition towards work and others working as well; Listening to instructions is very important towards the completion of the project.
