As a collaborative project supported by CIHR, University of Toronto Spine Program, Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto, the 2012 Acute Spinal Care, Triage and Management Symposium brings together scientists, clinicians, and community members with an interest in spine care. This symposium will provide an update on care management and current applications from a health care system perspective. This meeting is geared towards improving quality and outcomes for patients with spinal disorders. This years program will feature two concentration areas: Case-based education that focuses on common ER case presentations, Systems coordination and collaboration with an update on current care delivery. We look forward to discussing these topics with various experts and distinguished faculty in the field.
