Aim: Transformation between reference frames. (Stationary, rotating and synchronous to either of this)

Theory:

Fig a- Transformation between two reference frames

In some derivations and analyses it is convenient to relate variables in one reference frame to variables in another reference frame directly, without involving the abc variables in transformation. In order to establish this transformation between any two reference, Let x-denotes reference frame from which the variables are being transformed and ydenotes reference frame to which the variables are being transformed. fyqd0s= xKy fxqd0..(A) fxqd0s= Kxs fabcs..(B)

Substituting equation (B) in to (A), fyqd0s= Ky fabcs.(C)

Substituting the value of B & C in Equation A we obtain, Ky fabcs = xKsy Kxs fabcs (D) Thus,
x

Ky= Kys (Ksx)-1

and xKy is given by

x

Ky = [

The transformation, which is sometimes referred to as a vector rotator or simply rotator, can also visualized from the trigonometric relationship between two sets of rotating, orthogonal quantities as shown in fig-a. into Fyds Resolving Fxqs and Fxds into Fyqs yields the first row of matrix and Resolving Fxqs and Fxds yields the second row.

Conclusion:

By performing this simulation, we can infer that how 2-phase (stationary, rotating or synchronous frame) are converted to 2-phase (stationary, rotating or synchronous frame). By doing so, we will get nine different waveforms which makes our visualization clear.
