When Philippe Starck & Henri Seydoux decided to work together, their vision was to change the way we enjoy music. Four years of design and engineering has fused intuitive control with amazing sound clarity to create the worlds most advanced wireless headphones.

Zik, THe SmarTPHone generaTion HeadSeT

Listening to music, making calls, and cancelling noise while travelling are features that smartphone owners are looking for more than ever. To meet these needs, Parrot has developed a wireless headset to extend the use of your smartphone. Like smartphones, the Zik has a touchsensitive interface that offers hyper-intuitive access to all the features. Swipe the touchsensitive control panel vertically to increase the volume; move your finger horizontally to play the next track or go back to the previous one.

Parrot has perfected the motionrecognition algorithm in order for it to be simpler and more intuitive for the user. The Zik is currently the only audio headset and screenless device that responds to and interprets motions. With the Zik, discover an innovative way to control your music playlist!

The Zik also has a unique head detection sensor; Simply take the headset off to pause the player. The Bluetooth is then automatically reconfigured so that your smartphone operates independently.

recreaTing THe muSical exPerience

To ensure music is heard in all its harmony and depth, Parrot paid extra attention to the Ziks audio playback. The headset is equipped with powerful dSP (digital Sound Processor) algorithms that reconstruct the musical image in front of you, like a concert. This is the Parrot Concert Hall effect. To configure the Parrot concert Hall effect, simply download the free Parrot audio Suite application for ioS or android.

acTive noiSe conTrol

To isolate from background noise, Parrot has developed a high-performance active noise control system that can eliminate up to 98% of ambient noise. While traditional anc audio headsets use only 2 microphones to distinguish ambient noise, the Zik is equipped with 4 microphones, located inside and outside each earpiece, offering its user complete listening comfort. How does it work? Two microphones located inside the headset capture the surrounding noise. Two other microphones one in each earpiece analyze the residual noise (low frequencies) that could disrupt listening. The outside noise

is then cancelled out by opposing sound waves (antinoise) in order to create a quieter environment.

HandS-Free calling
For optimal listening comfort during your telephone calls, the Zik is equipped with two technologies that allow for crystal clear conversation. Combined with a double microphone, the bone conduction sensor detects and analyzes the vibrations of your jaw in order to extract speech from it.

mulTi-comPaTiBiliTy

The Zik is compatible with all of the brands of mobile phones on the market and accepts audio in stereo Bluetooth, or with a 3-point mini-jack cable for connecting any audio or video systems.

Finally, the Zik incorporates NFC, contactless technology, utilizing a tag built into the left speaker. Simply touch the headsets left earpiece with your telephone, and Bluetooth pairing will automatically start.

 Touch control panel The Parrot Zik has an ultra-intuitive touch panel on the right ear cup (1). When connected via Bluetooth connection, simply swipe up and down to increase and decrease the volume, and forward and back to skip tracks. Active noise cancellation The Zik has four microphones (2). This patented Parrot technology offers exceptional performance in active noise cancellation. The Zik can reduce sound by up to 98%, giving you perfect isolation from the outside world. Handsfree calling mode The Zik is specifically engineered for crystalclear conversation. With a two-directional microphone and a Jawbone sensor (3), the Zik captures these two signals and merges them with the sound of your voice for reliable calls. Head detection sensor located in the earpieces foam (4), it automatically detects whether you are wearing the headset. as soon as you remove it, Zik pauses the music. This way, you get the most out of each note. Simple Bluetooth pairing with NFC devices Just touch your phone to the left ear cup (5) to pair effortlessly with nFc devices.
