Another element will be the theme The Sampling of Cultures. Folkloric and ethnic prints will be shown in a new context. A dialogue between cultures will create a new and merged imagery. A contemporary aesthetic for the ethnic. Furthermore attention for a technical revolution, manufacturing methods enable the creation of complex and exciting new textiles. Modernism was all square and efficient, but now we have other machines and materials and there is an explosion of possibilities. MOTION. A concept that ephasises both the emotional side of textiles as well as the technical possibilities and esthetics.

Many people are now convinced the crisis will continue to influence our lives. Facing the facts and accepting the status quo might be the best way to deal with the many challenges of our time. It is all about recognizing and cherishing special moments and things in everyday life. To re-connect with our surrounding and to be in-touch again. Textiles with attention to detail and meaningful innovation. A new generation designers is reviving traditional craft techniques. Less is more, Humble yet precious textiles are leading. Sustainable Sophistication.
