CAREER SUMMARY Transferred to the Saint-Gobain Glass Fibre Business (20 manufacturing sites and some 4,500 employees) in 08/2006. Owens Corning (NYSE: OC) acquired this division in 11/2007. Progressive career development inside this Business Unit through various roles outlined below. In parallel to Finance career path at Owens Corning, obtained executive responsibility for sales operation in Czech Republic. Managed finance and operations (including strategic product manufacturing agreement) and oversaw commercial function. Drove negotiations with warehousing partners and major supplier, relocated to new office premises and completed restructuring after decision to centralise customer service organization in Brussels. Key achievements: Successfully managed and executed sale of distribution activity (see also below: Finance Leader Distribution); Achieved successful closure of litigation providing key input liaising with internal and external Legal Council; Restructured company, managing HR and operational aspects of relocation of Customer Service team (6); Increased shareholder value through re-negotiation of strategic manufacturing contract, achieving improved terms and conditions and multi-million EUR settlement, maintaining constructive relationship with supply partner management; Led and motivated team to maintain high level of performance in challenging environment. Building Materials Division consisted of two manufacturing sites and European Distribution and import business. Evaluated business plan and strategic position inside group.
