OBJECTIVE:

To become a self motivated and successful person in an organization to excel my

Work experience: Worked as technical staff for 9 months in Symed biotechnologies

(R&D) Pvt. Ltd, Chennai, from January 2008 to September 2008.

Activities performed in Symed biotechnologies:

 Performed microbiological techniques like Isolation of micro organism, Inoculation,

culture techniques, Gram-staining, Product analysis etc.
 Provided assistance in Starch biotech, Enzyme biotech, Herbel tech Project works in
company.
 Isolation and Characterization of micro organism from Rice flavour, potato and
carrot.
 Separation and characterization of Phytochemicals from Sanziviera
 zeylanica and Azadiracta indica.
 Operation of basic lab instruments like LAF, Colorimeter, Spectro Photometer,
Rotary Shaker, Centrifuge etc

Project work done during M.Sc:
 Effect of Aquatic weed extracts on paddy (Oryza sativa .L) varieties
 Effect of cold and boiled aqueous extracts of Pistia stratiotes on seed germination,
seedling root length & shoot length, seedling height, Dry weight and fresh weight,
seedling tolerance of various varieties of paddy.
 Aim of the project is to decrease the harmful effects of modern agriculture and
utilization of Aquatic weeds in the agricultural lands.

Publications:
 Presented a paper named effect of Aqualic weed extract on seed germination and
early seedling growth of certain varieties of paddy in national level biological
congress seminar at salem.

 Presented a paper in International level seminar in Nagercoil.
