PRAYER: The Greatest Force on Earth

Dr. Alexis Carrel, scientist and Nobel Prize winner, said: Prayer is the most powerful form of energy one can generate. It is a form as real as terrestrial gravity. Charles P. Steinmetz, the electrical wizard, predicted: Someday the scientists of the world will turn their laboratories over the study of God and prayerwhen this day comes, the world will see more advancement in one generation than it has in the past four generations. Truly, as Alfred, Lord Tennyson wrote: More things are wrought by prayer than this world dreams of. Prayer is the greatest force on earth! Scientists and noted men of achievement believed in the power of prayer.
Galileo didnt believe that God answers prayer until he tried praying one day. Oh, God, I beg you. Enlighten my mind so that I may invent something great to further human knowledge, he said. Shortly, God answered him by leading him to the invention of the telescope! With God, you can do the impossible. He said in the Holy Bible, Jeremiah 32:27: Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: Is there anything too hard for Me? All things are possible with God. (Mark 10:27)
HOW TO PRAY AND RECEIVE ANSWERS TO YOUR PRAYERS

Jesus revealed the secret of answered prayer when He said: "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." (Mark 11:24) This is the key to answered prayer. When you pray, believe that you have received them and you shall have them! It doesnt say believe you SHALL receive them, but believe you HAVE RECEIVED them. It is believing you already have the answer even before you physically receive it. It is believing you have it in your hand even before you can touch it. It
is seeing your minds eye even before you can see it with your eyes. It is a reality when you can believe it even if you cant physically see it or touch it. Your belief is the spiritual seed. In fact, everything you see the buildings, the bridges, the skyscrapers, the airplanes - began only as such, a spiritual seed. Somebody had to plant that belief, that spiritual seed. And soon enough it became a reality. But take note: That reality has its beginning from that seed of belief. And that seed is as much a part of what you actually see in physical reality. It is what Paul meant when he described faith as the evidence of things not seen, the substance of things hoped for. If you havent received answers to your prayer, it could be because you havent believed enough that you have received it. It is touching it and seeing it in your mind even before you can actually feel it or see it. It is feeling the joy of owning it or living it even before its physical reality. It is thanking God in advance even before it
manifests physically. To be able to thank God in advance is a sign or expression of true faith. Thats first-class faith. Thanking God in advance is an expression of your belief that you have indeed received the answer to your prayer. Once you really believe you already have it, you only have to wait for its physical manifestation. Its just a matter of time. If you can believe it, you can have it. So, to get answers to your prayers, believe that you have received and thank God in advance for them. One woman had been trying to sell her house for a year because she wanted to move to another place. Many came. They looked at the house. But they never returned. She felt more and more desperate as days passed by. Finally, she turned her problem over to God in prayer. And she thanked God in advance for answering her prayer.
For three days, she would imagine seeing herself receiving the payment for the house and depositing the money in her bank. Had her closest friends known what she had been doing, they might have laughed at her, saying, Are you losing your mind? But on the fourth day, a buyer came and handed her the money, the full payment for the house. She got the answer to her prayer when she believed she had received the payment for her house by seeing it in her mind as a reality and thanking God in advance for it. If you can believe it, you can have it. A young lady learned this secret. She was convinced that she can get anything she desired if she could only believe it. So she wrote down her four desires: 1. Wealth 2. A trip around the world 3. A wonderful husband 4. A beautiful home

Every morning, at noon, and again at night, she would relax her physical body and her mind, bring out her list, read the items one by one, and thank God in advance for the fulfillment of her desires. She would see herself in her imagination, enjoying the realization of her desires. The result? In a months time, her grandmother gave her a car and a large sum of money. She also received an invitation from her parents in Canada, asking her to join them for a trip around the world. During their trip, she met a man. It was love at first sight. Not long afterwards, they got married. And they both lived in her husbands beautiful home. And so her four desires were fulfilled! Yes, when you pray for something, believe that you have received them and thank God for them. In Gods time and wonderful way, you will receive them.
Heres how you believe and receive answers to your prayers:

1. Be sure that what you are asking God for is attainable and good in harmony or not against His will. 2. Tell God what you need and thank God in advance for answering your prayer.
Affirm this thanksgiving prayer when you wake up in the morning and just before you sleep at night. Thank you, Father, for the immediate fulfillment of my desires because of your divine love. I receive them in Jesus Christs name.
3. See yourself in your imagination enjoying the reality of your desires. Feel it. Believe it.
Once you believe it, you can receive it.

Jesus Christ said: If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. (Mark 9:23) What is faith? Faith as applied to everyday living is the opposite of fear. Fear is thinking and believing of something bad or negative happening in your life. Faith is thinking and believing of something good or positive happening in your life. Because of our negative mental conditioning from childhood, which we got from what we heard, read or saw, we have become experts in living by fear.

So we always think of problems, not solutions. We often think of what we dont want, instead of what we want to happen in our lives. The result? We get more problems. We suffer lack. Bad things keep happening in our lives. And yet, we keep on living by fear. Why? I believe that one of the reasons, if not the reason, is that - we have not been educated about it. It has not been explained to us. Yet it should have been taught in school, instead of many irrelevant academic subjects. The purpose of this book is to EXPLAIN why you should not live by fear. Nothing. Tune in your radio. Now, what do you hear? Words, music. So, they must have been around you all the time. Now, lock your door, seal all your windows, patch up every small hole. Do you still hear the words or music from your radio? Yes! They must have pierced through your walls and window panes. And did you ever stop to think that they were broadcast from hundreds of miles away? And herethey reached you in a matter not of minutes, but of split seconds! But, more marvelous is your television set. You not only hear music. You also see the person singing. You see the person talking. Like your radio they might have been telecast miles away, going through walls of bricks, steel, or wood. And they reached you in split seconds, too. Though you didnt see the radio waves, they were there all the time. Just think of the telecasting of mans moon landing by the Apollo astronautsfrom the moon to the earth! Wonderful, isnt it? Just marvelous! Like these, your mind can broadcast your thoughts far and wide. Your thoughts exist. Theyre real, although you dont see them. And they, too, can pierce through walls of steel, brick, or wood.

And they can travel fast in split seconds! The amazing case of Ted Serios, the cabdriver whose thoughts could be photographed, proved this. This man created a stir when his story was first published in the reputable Life Magazine, which devoted two pages on it. The Womens Magazine also gave three full pages to his story. Experiments conducted proved that Ted Serios could project his thoughts while in front of a camera and photos of his thoughts were taken. In the past 15 years, photos were taken from the projected thoughts of Serios, like the Taj Mahal, John Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln, the White House, and some faraway buildings. New cameras and new rolls of films were used. One time, he was even stripped of his clothes. In another experiment, he was even blindfold. He was even asked to sit in a Faraday cage designed to keep off all radio waves and electromagnetic projections. But still, pictures of his thoughts were taken. One time, it was reported that he projected his thoughts on a wall of a room and for a few seconds some witnesses saw it. The Ted-Serious experiments were conducted in the presence of reputable men of science, experts in their own respective fields and whose words were

respected. Among them were: Charles JD. Hlad Jr., physicist and of the research laboratory of the U.S. Veterans Administration Hospital in Denver; Dr.J.Allen Hynek, professor and chairman department of Astronomy, Northwestern University, Evanston Illinois; Ray W. Wainwrigth professor of electrical engineering in Colorado State University, Fort Collins; an associate clinical professor of medicine, and many others. Indeed, thoughts are things! But, this is just one aspect of the startling discovery. For example Further experiments on the mind conducted by other scientists and experts also prove that thoughts are energy, and they can control or influence material objects The experiments of Dr. Joseph B. Rhine of Duke University prove this. In these experiments, Dr. Rhine and his associates proved again and again that THOUGHTS COULD INFLUENCE MATERIAL OBJECTS. As a simple proof, they showed that they could control the turn of the dice. A mechanical device was used to throw the dice to exclude the possibility of human influence. Dr. Rhine and associates stayed at a near distance and concentrated on the number they wanted the dice to come up with.

And the dice seemed to obey their thoughts. It turned up with the number they had their thoughts on. Again and again and again, they demonstrated this simple but convincing experiments and demonstrationswith the same almost unbelievable results. A sound proof that MIND CAN CONTROL OR INFLUENCE MATTER! Recently, I also read the case of a man in Las Vegas who ruled the dice 50 times without miss, and left with $50,000. This wont look impossible when we consider the fact that we could accurately control and send guided missiles to any target, send heavy, unmanned spacecraft to orbit the earth and bring it back without wires, without strings or material connections. Scientists also now agree that our thoughts are electromagnetic. They say that our brain is composed of 40 to 50 billion cells. And these brain cells, as well as the other cells of our body, are being kept alive by magnetism and electricity. But, more important is this: Our brain is like a TV or radio broadcasting station. The FIRST Amazing Step to Get Anything You Desire

The FIRST AMAZING STEP to make any good dream come true is to MAKE A CLEAR MENTAL PICTURE OF YOUR DESIRE. Remember this every second of your life What you constantly think of, desire, or fear is likely to materialize in your life. If you always think of poverty you will soon become poor. If you always think of riches you will soon attract conditions of circumstances that will cause riches to flow into your life. So Think of the things you want not the things you do not want. As David Bush aptly said: Thoughts are things; thoughts are energy; thoughts are magnets which attract to us the very

things which we think. I say, if you concentrate on debts, debt is what you will have; if you think about poverty, poverty is what you will receive. Wallace D. Wattles, in his Science of Getting Rich also said: Man can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created. There was a businessman who had nothing but a small store. For about 10 to 15 minutes, three times a day, he made a mental picture of himself managing a giant corporation. He clearly imagined the buildings, the stores and employees working. And he saw himself as the head of the business. After doing this for some time, his business began to grow faster. He attracted more capital, more customers, needed personnel, profitable ideas and gradually expanded his business. Today, he is rich, the head of the giant corporation he dreamed of. His mental picture came true! Dr. Albert Wiggam considered this business of mental picturing as the strongest force within you. Your mental pictures your thoughts can

make things happen. Because THINKING OF A THING IS THE FIRST STEP OF CREATION! Every time you constantly think of a thing or condition, you are taking the first step of creating it, of making it happen. If you think of poverty or failure, you are starting to create it, whether you know it or not. And you will soon have it unless you stop, neutralize, or change your thought! Yes, you can think things to physical reality. You can CAUSE things to happen! Could this be because it is said in the Holy Bible: "I said, `You are "gods"; you are all sons of the Most High.' (Psalm 82:6) If you want something riches, health, success you can start creating or making it happen just by constantly thinking of it. For thoughts are really things, energy, magnets that can attract to us the realization of our dreams. Ten years ago, I was receiving only a small salary a month as a janitor, with those words my good friend Felix Ibay, Jr., began his story as we dined

in a restaurant one Friday. I had to walk to and from my job. And each time I passed by a university, my tears would begin to swell in my eyes as I drove this wish into my heart, I wish I will someday study in this University. And how I sighed when I came home at night. All around me were my boardmates, studying. Without passing glances, I would head straight to my bed and dream. A few months later, I became a messenger and got a raise in salary. I was given double my monthly pay. I was excited! The first thing I did was to enroll at a university! At last! He took up an evening course in business, majoring in accounting. With perseverance, he finished his course. Gradually, he held higher positions and got a raise in salary. At 31, he was receiving more than 11 times his previous salary a month! I learned he left for Canada and I heard that he is making five times his previous salary. Thoughts can really cause things to happen.

I was talking one night with Delia, a 21-yearold young lady. And she said to me: My mother used to laugh at my poor father whenever he said, I wish Ill have a jeep! But my father got his jeep! Then, one day, my father again said, I wish I had a truck. And my mother again laughed at him. But my father got his truck! At another time, my father said, I wish we could build a bigger house. And my mother commented, Hes dreaming too much. But, my father built the house! The things we see externally first started as somebodys thoughts, mental pictures. It has been said that our physical world is the mirror of our mind, our thoughts. The things that we see existing now first were mere thoughts or mental pictures in someone elses mind. To make things happen, one must take the first step of creation: MAKE A MENTAL PICTURE OF WHAT YOU WANT. In the creation of the world, even God, first might have a mental picture or model of what He wanted. When He said, Let there be light. He surely knew what light would be like.

The same is true when He created man in His image. So, before you can make your dreams come true and get what you want, MAKE A MENTAL PICTURE. Then, project your mental picture on the screen of your mind at least three times a day. Think of it. See it as clearly and definitely as you would have it. Frequent and constant visualization of your mental picture will reinforce its power, just as repeated hammering of a nail makes the nail sink deeper. Live with it. Think of it when you are about to sleep, when you wake up in the morning, when you relax during the day and whenever you can. Relax and free yourself from any negative emotion and activity, then, with great joy, project your mental picture into the screen of your mind or imagination. Here are some devices that will help you visualize your mental picture clearly:
1) Make a scrapbook of your dream or goal.

Cut photographs of the things you want, then

paste them in your scrapbook. If you want a car, put a picture of the car you want, in its exact color, model, etc. If you want a certain job, cut a photograph of a person occupying such a position, but paste a photo of your face on his or hers. If you want a house, cut a picture of that house. Then on succeeding pages, also paste pictures of the rooms and furnishings you want. Then go over your scrapbook now and then, and make them come to life in your imagination. For example A 15-year-old boy wanted to develop a muscular body. So, he cut photos of muscular men, like Steve Reeves. He placed them constantly before his eyes and minds. Everyday he imagined himself developing and having such a built. And he got what he wanted! This also reminds me of a story. One day, a Prince called his sculptor and asked him to make a statue of a handsome man. When the statue was finished, the sculptor

presented it to the Prince, and asked,, Shall we put it at the gate, my Prince? No, old man, place it in my room, said the Prince. From that day on, the Prince looked at the statue and imagined himself looking like the statue. After several days, people began noticing a gradual change in the Princes appearance. The Prince kept on having a mental picture until he looked exactly like it.
2) Write a statement of your dream or goal on cards, then place them where you can often see them.
Place one card in your wallet, another in one of the corners of your mirror, one on your desk, and on places where you can often see them. Antonio R. Mirabueno, Sr. is a father of six talented boys, all gold and silver medalists. Realizing the importance of setting concrete goals and keeping them in sight, he made a bulletin board at home. tive medals to remind them of their goals and challenged them to do better. One afternoon, however, his youngest son, Arnold, who was a little more than five years old then, told him, Father, I want a bulletin board for myself alone. Make me one and Ill fill it with medals! Recently, Arnold finished kindergarten. And he has already one medal a silver medal. I believe that this young boy will get those medals to fill up the spaces of his bulletin board! What he thinks and mentally pictures always, he will get. His father knew this. When I have a goal I myself even make pictures and graphs of it. Starting from his third year in high school, the older Mirabueno was a self-supporting student. In spite of financial difficulties, he dreamed and saw himself graduating from college. Working as a houseboy, janitor, messenger, and clerk, he finished college with three degrees: a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws. What he dreamed of and mentally pictured, he got!

So, make a mental picture of your goal and write it down on a card or cut a picture of it, and place it where you can often see it. As Johnson OConner said, Write down what you want to achieve. Then frame the paper on which you wrote it and hang it on the wall.
3) Use the mirror technique

Stand before a mirror, look at yourself in the eyes, and affirm your dream. For example, if you want to become a sales manager, say, You are appointed sales manager. Congratulations! An average salesman became a $150,000-ayear man with the help of this mirror technique.
4) Try prayer-power.
If you often pray, you may find it more effective to visualize and add power to your mental picture by praying. Tell God what you want and how much you want it. Do this twice or thrice daily for 10 to 15 minutes. And you will be amazed at the result. I suggest that you read the 23rd Psalm twice or

thrice daily. Thousands all over the world have reportedly gained peace of mind also by repeatedly reciting and mental picturing the message of the world-famous 23rd Psalm which is quoted here:

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. 5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

Prayerizing your dream can help you gain greater confidence or faith in its realization. (I suggest you get a copy of my book, 1.001 Ways to Use the Power of Prayer. In September, 1972, the offices of the newspaper where I was working were closed. And I found myself with a wife and a one-month-old son to support. Funds ran low so fast! I had to do something before things worsened. I took the first step, that of creating a mental picture of money. I cut a photograph of money from a magazines front cover, then looked at it several times a day to help me visualize money. I did not know how to get it, but I just BELIEVED that somehow I would receive the money. Meanwhile, of course, I was doing everything I could to solve my financial problem. Then interesting things began to happen. Things surprising things began to happen until I finally met and overcame the financial crisis. The things you want to happen can come true. Make a clear mental picture of it. Visualize it.

Hold on to it. Run the picture in your mind. Make it as colorful as you can. The events of today were your thoughts of yesterday. Your thoughts or mental pictures today will be the events of tomorrow. If you do not like many of the things happening in your life now, start changing them now by making mental pictures of the things you want. The greatest discovery of my generation, said noted psychologist William James, is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind. Your success or failure depends on your thoughts. Change your thoughts, and you change your life! You can control your success or failure because you can control or choose your thoughts. If you want a life of riches, you have to think of and desire riches to attract them. If you want poverty, you need only to be poverty-conscious every walking moment of your life. drew Carnegie, who started from rags to riches. Control your thoughts and you control your life. Do not be like others who always blame God when misfortune befalls them. They blame God for their poverty, their sickness, their unhappiness, and all bad luck that comes to them. Its Gods will, they say. They are weaklings! The truth is, its not God who gives it to them. It is they themselves their own thoughts they make their misfortune happen. But they dont know it. God is Love, He does not wish any evil for any man. It is man who brings evil and punishment upon himself by his wrong and evil thoughts and deeds. If God, by His permissive will, allows bad things to happen to some, its just a consequence of their bad thought, choice, or deed. It is ridiculous to think of a rich, powerful, and merciful God who wants to see His people hungry, ragged, suffering, unhappy, and sick, isnt it? When Jesus Christ, our Lord, came to earth about 2,000 years ago, He did not come to make us poor and starving. He said: I have come that they may have life, and that

they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) He came to give man prosperity, the law of prosperous living. He said: Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. (John 16:24) He did not come to bring sickness. He went about healing the sick, cleansing the leper, making the blind see, making the deaf hear, making the lame walk, even raising the dead. He did not come to preach unhappiness or insecurity. He went saying: In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world. (John 16:33) He like to see us safe and happy! He came to save man from damnation poverty, troubles, sufferings, miseries, frustrations, sickness, and problems. So, STOP blaming God for your bad luck, poverty, sickness, or misfortune. God wills only what is good. And you are here to reflect or manifest His riches, glory, and power. You are here to preach by your life the expression of His Divine love.

He wants you to be happy. How can you say you trust and love Him, if you are unhappy? Hold this thought in mind: Your life is the result of your own thoughts. Your poverty, your sickness, your unhappiness are caused by your own thoughts. So you can get rid of them because, as you already know, they are not Gods will. They are your own choices or decisions. CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS, AND YOU CHANGE YOUR LIFE! So, when things go wrong, dont look for outside causes. Look within. Set your thoughts right, and you will set your outside world right too. All creation starts from within, in the mind, whether it be great achievement or failure. Think positive thoughts and you will magnetize and draw positive or good things to yourself. And well have more peace, happiness, and prosperity! How do we get rid of these negative emotions and their evil consequences? Thus, to gain health, peace, happiness, and good, we only have to be with God. To be with God, we have to be in harmony with His Will which leads to every good in life. The Amazing Law of Blessing

Blessing brings the good out of the worst situation or experience.
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28) When something bad happens, your natural tendency is to be sad or mad. You keep brood or thinking about the negative experience. You feel bitter, angry, disappointed, frustrated, fearful, or hopeless. But the more you think about it with negative feelings, the more youll attract other such negative experiences. The same is true when somebody does you wrong. Your natural tendency is to be angry with the person who did you wrong. The more you hate him, get mad at him, and try to get even with him, the more youll attract persons like him and other negative experiences.

It is very difficult not to entertain your negative emotions of grief, disappointment and hate. But you must neutralize these negative emotions or youll be reaping more negative consequences. This is why those who suffer what they call bad luck and accidents keeping on experiencing a string of such negative experiences. They dont know that by thinking and feeling negatively about their bad experience or situation, they are attracting more negative events, experiences, situations, and persons. You can stop attracting or triggering more negative things from happening by using the law of blessing. Heres how: When something bad happens, instead of reacting negatively, say: I bless this experience or situation. Only good will come out of it. If a person has done you wrong which ordinarily would make you mad as hell, say instead: I bless you and bless the goodness of God in you. I now surrender you to God, and God now takes care of you. Only good will come out this experience.

Notice what you did. First, when you blessed the situation or person, you neutralized or took the emotional sting of the negative experience. Thus, you wont be attracting more negative situations. Next, by saying, Only good will come out of it, you focused your mind on a positive expectancy of something better. By doing so, you have triggered or set in motion the happening of a something good or positive. You can also bless your customers and many will come to you. You can bless your products to attract the people wholl benefit from them and wholl buy them. Say, I bless you with immediate selling power. You can bless your money to attract more money. Take whatever amount you have and bless it and your purse, bag or wallet. Say, I bless this money. God multiplies it abundantly. Bless every person you meet or deal with, saying, I bless you and the goodness of God in you. Yes, this is one of the laws youll be using

most often. Turn negative to positive by blessing the good out of it. So, bless and get the best from every situation, person or experience.

How to Receive Gods FREE Gift of Eternal Life

In every mans heart is a secret and silent longing to live forever. I know you can feel it, because the seed of eternity is planted into every mans heart. Thats why you feel the need or desire to live on. Truly, our physical bodies die, but our spirit lives on to eternity, because the spirit cannot die. We came into this world carrying nothing, and surely we shall carry nothing out. Not even our physical body. Our and spirit live on. The question is not IF we live eternally, but WHERE shall we spend eternity? Eternity with God? Or eternity separated from God? Most people say, only God knows. But the Holy Bible says, we can know. In fact, the apostle John said that he wrote the gospel so that we may know that we have eternal life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. (1 John 5:13)
If you are basing your salvation on your good works or obedience, you certainly would not know, because by your works or obedience, its clear and definite that you will not spend eternity with God. Its because you have already sinned and you have to pay the penalty of your sins. And what is the penalty of sin? The Bible is very clear and definite about it. For the wages of sin is death... (Romans 6:23) Not just physical death but also spiritual death. Lets face it, no matter what you do, you keep falling into sin and you will continue to fall into sin as long as you are in your carnal body. There is nothing you have done, is doing, or will do for you to merit or deserve eternal life with God in heaven. Isaiah says, your righteousness are like filthy rags. They dont meet Gods standard. And they will never pass Gods standard. All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags. (Isaiah 64:6) Why? To pass Gods standard, your obedience must be perfect. You must obey ALL His commandments.
For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. (James 2:10) You disobey one, you disobey all. Youre in trouble. Im in trouble. All are in trouble. Thats the bad news. God saw that no one will be saved by his obedience, for no one is perfect. None does good, no, not one. So He made a way where there is no way for the salvation of man. By His grace, He sent Jesus Christ to die in our place, and shed His pure blood for the forgiveness of our sins, because without the shedding of blood we cannot be forgiven. In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. (Hebrews 9:22) Jesus Christ having shed His blood opened the way of salvation for man. Man can now be justified or made righteous before God by faith - by believing in Jesus Christ and accepting what He has done. Thats called salvation or justification by faith. It is believing in Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your Savior, and trusting completely that His blood has PAID IN FULL the penalty of all your sins. It is basing your salvation only on WHAT HE HAS DONE that you were saved, are saved, and will be saved, and not because of any merit on your part, because YOU HAVE ALREADY MISERABLY
FAILED! Although salvation or justification by faith is now available to man, how could man be convinced - proud as he is - to seek to be justified or be made righteous by his faith alone? Thats precisely the reason why the Ten Commandments were given - to shut our boastful mouths and make us acknowledge our guilt before God. Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. (Romans 3:19) Why? For what purpose? Like a criminal, caught red-handed and overpowered, the best action for us to take in such a situation is to surrender. Its only when we realize our hopelessness fully admit our guilt that we would accept or look for a savior. Unless we realize we are sick, we wont need a doctor. Unless we see we are helpless, we wont cry out for help. Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. (Galatians 3:24) Realizing we cannot obey all the commandments,
wed seek a savior and come to Christ. And so I did. But there are still many who dont put their whole trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ because of their pride. They feel, what Jesus Christ has done is not enough and so they have to add their own good works or obedience to make what Jesus Christ has done to be valid or effective. The Holy Bible is very clear about this - that we are saved only through our faith in Christ, total faith in Christ, not by any good works or righteous deeds we have done. He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. (Titus 3:4-5) We are saved by His grace. If by grace, then it is not because of our works. If because of any work, it cannot be grace, because grace is unearned, unworked for, unmerited, undeserved favor. If favor, somebody did it or gave it for us. Paul again explained it this way: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so that no one can boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) Our salvation is a gift. To us, its free, because Jesus Christ has already paid for it. Oh, and at what a
price! What is needed for us to do is to receive it. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23) Would you like to receive Gods gift of eternal life in heaven with Him? You only have to sincerely accept it once and you are sealed for eternity in heaven. If you want to accept Gods gift, say this prayer with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind: Lord God, our Father, I confess I have sinned. But thank You for giving your Son Jesus Christ who came to die in my place and PAID IN FULL the penalty for ALL my sins so I do not have to die for my sins anymore. I accept Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. And I accept your FREE GIFT of eternal life. I believe that when my life in this world ends, I will be in Heaven with You - forever and for all eternity. Amen. If you said that prayer, you have become a child of God. You now do good works not to earn or keep your salvation but only to thank, praise and glorify God and live the life you were meant to live as a child of God.
No one can take away your salvation from you for once you become His child, He will hold your hand. And you are His child forever. Just as your child will still be your child no matter what, so are you to God. If your child does something bad, you discipline him, but he is still your child. So will God be to you as a Father. If you commit a sin, God will discipline you. You will still remain His child, but He will surely DISCIPLINE you through trials to correct you and straighten you. If you dont want to be disciplined, be good. For you are a child of God. The best thing to do when you fall into sin is to flee from it and confess immediately to God who is always there to accept and forgive you. John wrote: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
