NOTE:
This upgrade is only compatible with Acer LiquidE phones with 512 MB of RAM. Ensure the battery level is higher than 30 %. Ensure the micro SD card in your device has more than 300 MB of free space. Ensure the available space of internal phone storage is larger then 20MB before executing upgrade process. (Check Settings -> SD card & phone storage -> Internal phone storage) Some settings may not remain after upgrade. Search history in the search widget. Calendar sync settings in Settings/Account & Sync. Searchable items in Settings/Search. Speed dial which is linked to Google contacts.

EUU Step by Step Tutorial Guide

Step 1. Download the EUU (end user upgrade) file that you need. Unzip the EUU file and open the folder. Double click setup.exe.

Step 2.

If Microsoft.Net Framework 2.0 or above version has not been installed on the PC/NB, the .Net Framework installation window will appear. Click Accept to install .Net Framework 2.0.

Step 3.

Select the installation folder and click Next.

Step 4.

Click Next to confirm the installation of Acer LiquidE Tool.

Step 5.

A warning message will pop up. Follow the instructions and then click OK.

Step 6.

When the installation is finished, the Installation Complete window will pop up. Click Close.

Step 7.

The EUU welcome page will be shown. Click Next.

Step 8.

Connect your LiquidE to the PC/NB. After connecting, the OS version will be displayed. Please enable USB debugging item as below instruction. Click Next to start the upgrade.

If your LiquidE device is 256MB RAM version and you press Next, EUU tool will pup on an error message Error! You are using Acer Liquid with 256MB RAM but this upgrade is only compatible for Acer LiquidE with 512MB RAM.

Step 9.

A window will pop up to indicate that the upgrade is completed. Click Finish and disconnect your LiquidE from the PC/NB.

Appendix If you encounter any problems while upgrading and fail to complete the process, follow the instructions below to retry the upgrade process. There are two ways to retry the upgrade process. Follow the steps on the message window and then restart the upgrade process. i.

Other error messages indicate on screen. Upgrade process stops if build version is different.
