RE 3 REcycle.REuse.REduce
bus stops to promote sense of sustainability

RE3 is a concept of building the city bus stops to

promote the sense of enviromental sustainibility
among society.
The known waste heirarchy is Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
Recycling and reusing the waste, needs some kind of infrastructure.
But biggest of the three is Reduce and it can be achieved only by
changing the human behaviour. Infact it can be achieved without
almost zero cost.

Figure below shows the side view of the bus stop representing the
symbol of REduce, REuse, REcycle.

RE 3 REcycle.REuse.REduce
bus stops to promote sense of sustainability

The concept of the bus stop is inspired from the derived symbol.

As the figure shows the down arrow is named Reuse, represents

that the material used to build the platform is being reused or will
be reused in future.

The up arrow is named recycle, represents that renewable source

of energy is being recycled to some other source like electricity
being used by digital information screen and CFL tubes. The
material used are also recycled or reused.

The Reduce remains with humans, and they need to contribute to

attain environmental sustainability.
