ABSTRACT
The abstract of the project defines the reasons for the making of this project. The reasons are as follows:1. The project is a part of the curriculum of my degree. It is important for my degree completion. 2. The project gives me a direct exposure to the industry of Financial Services Distributor or Direct Marketing. 3. The project gives me a direct exposure to the Human Resource Department of the NetAmbit Infosource & e-Services Pvt. Ltd. 4. The experience gained from this project will assist me in my corporate future. 5. This study will help me to understand the prevailing Employee Welfare Schemes of both, the industry and the Organisation.

INTRODUCTION OF THE STUDY

About NetAmbit NetAmbit is India's most respected Financial Services Distribution company. It has a highly profitable business model with several strong distribution channels retailing a range of different products. With over 3500 workstations, 800 field agents, 34 branches and hundreds of business associates, NetAmbit caters to the largest section of population in India as compared to any other Financial Services Distribution company NetAmbit offer an exciting and challenging work environment. We conduct business with the best in the industry and are leaders in our field of work, continually aspiring to climb higher on the ladder of success.

About Project Report The project report A Study on the Employee Welfare Schemes in NetAmbit Infosource & e-Services Pvt. Ltd. is a part of the curriculum of my course. It is related to the study of the Employee Welfare Schemes of Human Resource Department in the NetAmbit Infosource & e-Services Pvt. Ltd., Janakpuri. This project will be helpful for the managers to make required changes in their management operations. Welfare includes such activities as private advice on any type of personal problem; assistance with problems of heath or sickness; special responsibilities for young people and elderly and retired staff and the provision of sports and social facilities. An organization is concerned with these matters since the reputation for their showing concern helps to improve the local image of the firm as a good employer and thus assists in recruitment. Welfare may not directly increase productivity but may add to general feelings of satisfaction with the firm and cut down labour turnover.

This project will include the study of NetAmbit Infosource and its Employee Welfare Schemes in HR department. Different policies formulated by the company for the welfare of the employees will be studied. Observation and Questionnaire will be understood to give accurate and required conclusions and recommendations to the study.

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY


To understand the Employee Welfare Schemes in NetAmbit Infosource & eServices. To study employee satisfaction demographic Wise. To study about the schemes formulated by the company to retain the employees for longer term. To study about reasons for absenteeism & high employee turnover. To understand the employees expectations from the job and the organisation.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY & DATA COLLECTION


Scope of the Study The study will have a very wide scope to all the parties engaged. 1. This project will be helpful to me for my degree completion. Being a part of my curriculum it is important for me to make this project. 2. This project will help me to study the Employee Welfare Schemes in a real organizational environment. 3. This project will also help the Industry to improve on its Human Resource Management. Better Policies can be formulated for the Employee Welfare in the Human Resource Department. 4. The construction of this project will also give me industry exposure which will be helpful for me in my corporate future.

Research Design The study is a research. The Research Design used is Exploratory Research Design. Current data and current observations are used in this research design. The analysis will be according to the prevailing organizational situation.

Sampling Method and Technique The sampling method used in this research is Convenience Sampling Method or Judgmental Sampling Method.

Sample Size The Sample Size for the questionnaire will be 100. As my study is conducted at NetAmbit Infosource & e-Services Pvt. Ltd., Janakpuri, therefore, my Universe is NetAmbit Infosource & e-Services Pvt. Ltd., Janakpuri.

Sampling Tool Used For this study, for the collection of various data requirement, structured Questionnaire is prepared. This Questionnaire contains qualitative & quantitative information of the employees. This analysis and theoretical study would help to know the situation prevailing in the organisation.

Data Collection Sources


The study is relied on both, the primary as well as the secondary data. The data is collected through a Questionnaire surveyed from the employees of the NetAmbit Infosource & e-Services Pvt. Ltd, Janakpuri and also from various books, journals and Internet.
