By the causeless mercy of Guru and Gaurga we have passed up to (indistinct) days Our parikram is going on well. Only (by) their mercy. So, I think all glories to Guru and Gaurga. Especially today is annaka mahotsava. But before this, before Amvasy (the new moon), we call that tithi (day) Dhanteras; dhan teras. What is the meaning of Dhanteras? Dhan means wealth; and teras Ka is the most Devotees: Wealthy person rla Gurudeva: No, no; wealth of Vrajavss. They used to love heartly to Ka. They have given their hearts and souls and everything; husbands and wives and children and everything for Ka. Especially on that day. So, it is called Dhanteras. But worldly people they don't do like this. They gamble to make money. So, someone that gambles, like Mahrja Yudhihira, lost his whole property, his kingdom, his wife too. So, now it is also we do Dhanteras for Ka bhakti and worldly peoples they gamble to make so many enjoyments; and thus they destroy their lives in Dhanteras. In whole (of) India they can do on that day. They take what? Devotees: Wine. rla Gurudeva: Wine and all these things. But we don't. And after that Amvasy that is called Dipavali. What is the meaning of Dipavali?
(indistinct verse: mata mat jyotir maya)

What is the meaning? (The) meaning is that (the) world is andhakra full of darkness. This world my.

-2-

What has come from my? Not Yogamy; Mahmy is called andhakra darkness. We are all in darkness but now, by the causeless mercy of Guru and Gaurga, we are trying to come from that darkness and to go into the light. What is (that) light? Oh, Ka bhakti is light. (Lava) akti is light. Under the guidance of Vrajavss, especially Caitanya Mahprabhu's idea, under the guidance of gops. Who will serve Rdh-Ka conjugal; (with) inclination towards Rdhik. This is the full light. There is no light except this. This is light. And after this, Dipavali, we have passed yesterday; and now today is Pratipda. Today Ka warned his father, Nandababa, not to worship Indra. He can not do anything. He can not help us. So, we should worship Girirja Govardhana. What is the meaning of Govardhana? Go means cows; go means gopas; go means gops; go means prema all kinds of transcendental knowledge. You know? Perhaps you know or not. rla Prabhupda gave the name to our Gurudeva: Bhakti Prajna Keava. He gave first to Gurudeva after that in (a) dream he told and by the mouth of pjyapda rdhar Mahrj, he gave this name; but Gurumahrja, Prabhupda, has given this name Bhakti Prajna. I thought (I would find the meaning of Bhakti Prajna) in (one of) rla Bhaktivinoda hkura('s) any krtana. Bhakti Prajna means? What is the meaning? Prema bhakti.
viuddha prema bhakti / bhakti prajna Prajna is vijna (indistinct) rupena jna. What is that? That is prema bhakti, gop bhakti, Ka bhakti. In the line of gops.

So, today is Pratipda; very important, very important day. Why? This day all Vrajavss, by the consultation of Ka, all made so many kinds of preparations, so many. Thousands of preparations, that they used to do for Indra, for Girirja Govardhana. Thousands and thousands, millions

of bullock carts they used to bring from their houses to this Girirja Govardhana. All around Govardhana millions of carts and millions of gopas and gops assembled. Before this they did pj of vaiavas, Gargacrya, (Sndpani i), especially Bhguri because he was the guru of Ka. He gave the mantra. What mantra you know? Radha mantra to Ka is Bhguri i. So, all of the Vrajavss worshipped them; we should also worship vaiavas. You are vey lucky, very, very, lucky that there are so many exalted vaiavas among you. So, you can worship. Secondly, vaiavas, brhmaas; oh, we have so many brhmaas, so many brhmaas. All are brhmaas; and especially as a brhmaa from our Vrajavs our pnd, Giridhr, his name is also Giridhr. This matha is also Giridhr Gauya Matha and now we are inwe have brought millions of carts from (all) over the whole world, not only from Vraja. And today we will worship, first worship guru, vaiavas, vaiavis, and then brhmaas, and then cows. We have a lot of cows here. Very nice cows. After (indistinct) we should go and worship cows here by (indistinct) by worshipping by giving flowers to the feet of cows. Because they are worshipable (by) even Ka. Ka used to serve them daily. So, worship. And after that what Vrajavss here, you have prepared. So, many varieties we should try to take it with 108 carts. Oh, ladies will take and (indistinct) and paraphernalia has been prepared by Premananda Prabhu and his company, party. And you all. We will take it on our head and vaiavas will do krtana and we will go to the same place where we have done before. And then we will serve all the vaiavas all the brhmaas and everyone mah-prasdam that has been offered to Ka. And we will make some dry prasdam that will be given to you all and you can take it in your homes. Today we will do. But we should take vow, pratij, that we will never give up all these things. What we are giving in our classes, this is everything. Chant hari name in the way shown by Rpa Gosvm:
tan-nma-rpa-caritdi-sukrtannusmtyo kramea rasan-manas niyojya tihan vraje tad-anurgi-jannugm kla nayed akhilam ity upadea-sram
[While living in Vraja as a follower of the sternal residents of Vraja, who possess inherent spontaneous love for r

Ka, one should utilize all his time by sequentially engaging the tongue and the mind in meticulous chanting and remembrance of Ka's names, form, qualities and pastimes. This is the essence of all instruction. r Upademta (8)]

Whether you are here with me, with other vaiavas or when you are returning to your places, no harm, think that I am in Vraja by mind and in the guidance of pure vaiavas. You should chant and remember and do all the activities (that) we are doing here. Don't beAlways remember the words of Caitanya Mahprabhu. And what is that? --- (unknown verse here)---You should remember all these things. This is not (a) marriage party. That you have come to select your wives and everything. Be very careful otherwise there is no place here. You should go away from here and be very far away from us. I want pure bhakti. Gaura premnande! Hari hari bol!
(break in recording)

That we will do pj of brhmaas and vaiavas. Guru we have done, we do. Vaiavas we are doing and do. (indistinct) Mahrja and all are vaiavas and he is Vrajavs actual Vrajavs. You know he is chanting Hare Ka, Hare Ka. So, he is chanting. He is (the) father of our the pnd of Prabhupda, rla Bhaktisiddhnta Sarasvat hkura. He used to love him like dear son. And he was very bold and brave and he was restless. His son Giridhr, he kept the name Giridhr, we are lucky to have a pnd, Vrajavs. He also loves me like father and Guru. So we are now worshipping I also want to request you all that today we are doing annaka here tomorrow in Rdh-kua and after that we will go to Vars n; in the way so many places we will do parikram. So, I request you all that we should give them some prali. So, not now. I think that it will be better that our Madhu Mahrja, Vana Mahrja, Araya Mahrja, Brajantha, and Rsnanda prabhu. You should give, they will collect and you should all give something.

-5-

If you come alone the pnds will take you not less than 200, 300, 400, or at least 100. They will beat you; in this way and that way. But our pnd is very good pnd. So, try to give 5 at least. Not less than. At least 5 rupees; and if you can give more you should give to them. This is our pj and after class we will go to (indistinct) and we will worship. Now, what I have told in English you should tell in Bengali. Very brief. Anyone who will donate something, prepare something, give only one rice, (for) this annaka, his whole life and afterlife and lakhs, they will not beg anything. Lakm may beg, but those who take part in Govardhana annaka, here especially, even a (grain of) rice, any paraphernalia, making some laddu or anything; giving something to Premananda Prabhu or annaka or (me) all for whole life and several lakhs of lives you will have Ka prema; no doubt.
(break in recording)

And others? sannyss?

(others indistinct)

Do you want to come? Oh, you should go and come.
