Computers I Sophomores Objective: Students will apply PowerPoint concepts to create a PowerPoint slideshow. Process: Work individually on topic of choice. Evaluation: PowerPoint will be evaluated per rubrics and is due by the end of class Tuesday. Accounting I Juniors Objective: Students will analyze 7th quarter financial statements and ratios to make justifiable business and financial decisions for the 8th quarter. Process: Review SMG results and make 8th quarter decisions. Evaluation: No formal evaluation. Computers II Juniors Objective: Students will apply video production concepts to film news items. Process: Write storyboards and film stories. Evaluation: Participation Advanced Keyboarding 8th Grade Objective: Students will understand the purpose of print preview, learn to adjust margins in page setup and insert headers and footers. Process: Work through Lesson 2, p. 334 336. Evaluation: Activity 5, p. 336.

Objective: Students will understand different types of sales receipts and accurately record cash receipt transactions in special and general journals. Process: Discuss sections 10-2 and 10-3in class. Complete WT 10-2 and 10-3 as a class. Evaluation: Application Problems 10-2 and 10-3 completed on the computer using Excel. Objective: Students ability to successfully and accurately record sales transactions in special and general journals will be informally assessed. Process: Mastery Problem 10-4 Evaluation: Mastery Problem 10-4.

Personal Finance Seniors General Business Freshmen Objective: Students will recognize factors of organization culture and diversity. Process: Discuss section 8-3 and complete Business Concepts questions 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9 in class. Evaluation: None Prep Prep Computers I Juniors Objective: Students will learn to create mail merge labels and letters utilizing an Access Database. Process: Review process in class and work through practice problem in old computer book. (p. 16-10 through 16-22). Evaluation: No formal evaluation.

Objective: Students will identify companies traded on the stock market, become familiar with symbols and research companies they know. Process: Use WeSeed.com and research companies in Mini markets. Evaluation: Completed Lesson 1 Worksheet
Objective: Students will gain a basic understanding of financial statements, compare revenue, and develop basic skills in using financial data to choose stock purchases.
