I am watching Charlie Brown Christmas. I watch it once or twice a season for how many years? Maybe seen it 50 times.

I never got it till tonight. When Charlie Brown goes off to get the Christmas tree he takes Linus with him. Of course Lucy has already emotionally screaming at them to get the best christmas aluminum tree He can find. Charlie Brown starts the journey and Linus says lets look first where those search lights are. Boom it hits me. Charles Schultz told the story of Jesus written in this narrative. The search lights are the Jesus star. They follow over to the 'lot' [feed lot, manger] look at the glamour of the city then low and behold a little poor young tree. Naked with some green {evergreen, eternal life] pine needles some even shed off as they take that one. Charlie Brown says that one needs a good home. Yes home in his heart. Charlie Brown places a large 'heart-sized' ornament on the little tree and it bends so the blood heart hits the ground. Charlie Brown bemoans I broke it I am but a loser. Linus representing the truth and faith says it is not such a bad little tree. Then the group comes and the resurrection takes place. The group accepts salvation and sings the salvation song, Hark the Herald Angels sing glory to the new born king peace on earth and mercy mild God and sinners reconciled. etc. There is much more in their then I have dug out here. We have been told that Christmas tree represents Jesus but I missed this whole Jesus story told by a christmas tree in Schultz's christmas. Does anyone know the meaning of Christmas Charlie Brown exclaims Linus quotes Luke verbatim to tell the birth and then Schultz drives it home with the Christmas Tree narrative. God must have inspired this. To not only tell the story of the birth of Christ but the death on the cross, [tree is nailed to a wood cross base] blood spilled to start the church, [blood red ornament] Linus wraps his blanket around the tree [shrouded for the tomb] then the transformative resurrection of the Christmas tree in all its glory. With many decorations of gifts and promises to us. AND if we miss that the group first hum's along the song of Faith, uses that faith to receive salvation and thus they sing it to the world. Fulfilling the command of Christ to preach the Gospel to all nations. God gave Charles Schultz genius talent. He made millions. He did not waste it. He used this talent to preach the Gospel to the whole world. We have the greatest topic. The greatest message to talk to the whole world about full of power and grace delivered in pure truth. Christmas is so exciting. The revelation of the Messiah come to save all mankind. Oh what a night to remember for me. Tell me more insights as you see them from this narrative. Thanks in advance, Nic
