STAGES OF THE LESSON 1. WARMER: the teacher will check whether there are any absent pupils; the teacher will check whether all the pupils have done their homework exercise: B/50, make a new identity for themselves 2. PRE-SET PURPOSE: The pupils will orally present their homework They will orally read their missions as spies They will orally present their new identity cards, showing them to the class 3.PRESENTATION:

PRE-READING- The teacher will start a short dialogue with the pupils on the topic SPIES Would you like to become a spy? Why would you like to become a spy? How must a spy be? What qualities must he have? What kind of equipment does a spy get? When a spy receives a message, how is that message? The teacher will introduce the title of the new lesson to the pupils CODES The teacher will write and underline the title of the new lesson on the blackboard The teacher will explain the word CODE(CODURI) Pupils will be asked to open books at page 52

WHILE READING: Pupils will be asked to do exercise A/52 Theyll have to read the instructions on how to write a coded message While reading the instructions the pupils will have to match the instructions (A, B,C,D) with the pictures.

AFTER READING: After silently reading the instructions , and after matching them with the pictures the pupils will read the instructions aloud and tell their solution 4. LESS-CONTROLLED PRACTICE: In pairs, pupils will be given a piece of paper The teacher will explain on the blackboard how a PigPen code is made Pupils will have to write on the paper two sentences about themselves (eg. I like BEyoncee. I like dancing) They will code the sentences The teacher will take all papers and will mix them Each pair will take one paper Theyll have to decode the messages Then guess whose paper it is 5. PRE-SET PURPOSE: the teacher will write on the blackboard the following sentences: I go to school every morning. I went to school yesterday. I am going to school now. The teacher will ask the pupils to read the sentences and translate them, then to say what tense is used in each sentence. PRESENT SIMPLE, PAST SIMPLE, PRESENT CONTINUOUS 6.PRESENTATION: The teacher will tell the pupils that today they will learn about PRESENT CONTINUOUS. The teacher will write and underline the title on the blackboard Then she will ask the pupils to help her give the definition of P.C.

FEEDBACK: The teacher will ask the pupils what action, what forms have the PRESENT SIMPLE/ CONTINUOUS and the PAST SIMPLE pupils will be given as homework exercises: C,D/ 51 C/ 52 The teacher will explain the pupils what they have to do.
