Electrical equipment and control convenient and safe

Demag DK chain hoists have direct control as standard or an optional integrated contactor control system for the hoist and travel unit. Control pendants from the broad Demag product range are used to control the hoist, the number of switching elements being governed by the range of functions of your chain hoist and the type of travel unit.

Demag control pendants are characterised by their ergonomic housing design for comfortable operation. Mechanical or electrical interlocks prevent the simultaneous initiation of travel in different directions. The housings are made of high-quality polyamide with high shock and impact resistance, electrically insulated, type of enclosure IP 55 (IP 65).

27191 The DSK control pendant is designed for one-hand operation and rests comfortably in the hand. It is used with chain hoists without an electric trolley and features one or two-stage switching elements, depending on the hoist motor model.

19196 The DST control pendant is primarily used with chain hoists with electric trolley.

38283-1 Manually actuated DSE control pendants are used for contactor controls for machinery, however, preferably for controlling hoists and conveying systems from the ground.

Demag DK chain hoists Selection criteria

The size of the hoist is determined by the load spectrum, average operating time per working day, SWL and reeving. 1. What are the operating conditions? 2. What is the specified SWL? 3. To what height must the load be lifted? 4. What is the required lifting speed? 5. Do the loads need to be lifted and lowered with high precision? 6. Is horizontal load travel required? 7. How is control to be effected?
